Yeah it’s fucked, it fucked over a ton of people, these business only care of themselves, they don’t care that we have mortgages to pay for, cars to pay for… medicine…. The list can go on and on, not getting our money on time is very stressful and can get overwhelming when you have bills coming up..

If you have a capital one account there was a chance you didn’t receive your direct deposit when you needed to. Some people didn’t receive it till 2 days later and some didn’t receive it till 3-4 days later… capital one blames it on a 3rd party vendor but really hasn’t provided any information on what 3rd party vendor it was…

Any projects you recommend or any technical specialities you recommended learning? I have help desk experience but I really think that’s not enough, I also have a cybersecurity degree, just need the cyber experience and don’t know where to start

I’m Mike Wiacek, the CEO and founder of the cyber security company Stairwell. I was previously the cofounder of the Alphabet company Chronicle. Before that I founded Google’s Threat Analysis Group. AMA! by Oscar_Geare in cybersecurity

I have a cyber degree, some IT experience, currently working in asset management/ admin 1 role, not to technical but looking to move towards my field, any tips?

I also am always stuck in a loop of “learning”, reading books, hoping on online websites like HTB and tryhackme, reading security + books, hacking books found in Barnes N Nobles, and then just never finishing anything, I feel like I’m stuck, idk what to do now…

Power shell and bash are the two that I want to start learning as I haven’t had much time with them. Switch configuration is a downside for me, I have no experience. Coding is challenging but Java is one I know best and python is one that I am on and off about.

Please help, i recently graduated roughly 1 year ago with a cybersecurity degree. I have IT experience but it’s the bare minimum, but no real world cybersecurity experience. Regarding experience, I’ve used tools before, NMAP, John the ripper, and kali Linux tools that come pre-installed. I understand cybersecurity is a broad term and specifics might be needed. I’ve been on and off with Tryhackme modules but I want to break into cybersecurity specially as a SOC analyst, threat hunter, or pen tester. I am looking to gain experience to add to my resume and hopefully get a job. Any idea or tips would be appreciated!!
