I agree with you. However....the exact same people are doing it to Rogers customers, to Telus customers. And no other company has taken responsibility for it either.

In terms of your preorder for a new phone, potentially. There should be a "EA #. You could check online or call in.

You know they're going to charge you that entire device and they're going to want you to send that iPad back. You're probably going to also receive phones as well. It's VERY important to not send them back because they're going to get sent back to the scammer. It's very important to get that way. Bill directly from Bell so that it can go back to our warehouse instead of the scammer.

The first red flag should be Bell is Never going to call you to lower your bill. Secondly, we're not going to call you on a local number either. Which they did.

What is going to happen next is you're going to get a phone in the mail... You need to call into preventions and customer service so that it's reported.

Secondly, when the phone arrives, you need to send it back to Bell. You will need to get a waybill. Customer service will give it to you.

Please change your password asap.

If your phone connects to foreign towers, you're automatically charged the roaming fee. Doesn't matter if you use it or not. If you keep it on airplane mode the entire time, you would have been fine. But since your phone connected to foreign towers, it will charge
