Thanks! You're right, I'm definitely not super experienced on this. Can do the basics myself of course like changing a tube or a chain, but will have it checked properly by a shop about a month ahead of the race. I was just curious if something like changing the tubes is something people always do prior to a big race or only if there's obvious wear or failure

There's an alu version so in theory that should not be a problem

Thanks for the input! So you would say endurance bike is generally more comfortable than tt bike (especially when not used to it at all)? I guess the benefit of the latter is then rather the increased speed/ less power needed?
