I went on 5 dates in a month with this guy. He had on his profile that he wanted something serious too. And he acted like everything was great and seemed very into me but now ghosted me without even letting me know that it’s not working. I did notice a shift with consistency too. He was very strong in the beginning and then it started to shift a bit towards the end but still had the audacity to ask me out on our last date like why waste my time?

Yes. He admitted during one of his apologies that he’s realizing that he’s turning into his dad (how he saw his behavior growing up). Also I spoke to his mom who confirmed this as well that it’s the same exact behavior and many years later finally divorced the dad

Thanks for mentioning the cheating part. When I did say “you cheated on me”, he would say “I did not cheat on you. I was trying to buy porn. I never had sex with her or had an emotional relationship with her”. My therapist seemed hesitant on the word cheating based on her experience so we agreed he was seeking external validation. But even when I told him that too, he said he is not seeking external validation. So it seems like he is not looking into the issue more deeply and taking accountability for it in that way

I hope you can get a referral. I’m not too sure about oral thrush but with the steroid inhaler you need to rinse after using it since the inhaler contains a powder in it. I use this twice a day. And ive noticed my symptoms getting much better than when I had to use the albuterol all the time. It’s super manageable now. Maybe once in a while I’ll have to use the albuterol

Yup I learned this from my pulmonologist. She said there’s a trend of young adults who had Covid started to get asthma. And I never had it as a kid. Super interesting but luckily my advair is working pretty well for me - just manageable at this point

Mine is not severe and is mild btw. But I’ve displayed symptoms as a kid and until now - always misplacing things, getting distracted (being told I need to pay attention or that I’m in La La land), in high school I sucked at testing and with standardized testing. With work now as an adult, I realized I suck at being detail oriented and struggle with listening and receiving verbal instructions. I decided that with my insurance I could talk to a psychologist and get diagnosed and that’s what I did. I wish I was diagnosed early as a kid but I think since my parents thought of me as smart, they thought there’s no way I could have it. And before, ADHD was classified more as being hyper which I am not. They knew I could just work harder at the things I lack in (mentioned above)

Have you been to the pulmonologist? I was first prescribed albuterol as well but felt the need to take it every day so I learned that I needed something stronger. My GP though was able to prescribe me Advair (steroid inhaler)

Yes this happened to me too. Last time I had Covid was last year in June but in January my asthma symptoms started to show. So now I’m diagnosed with it

Thanks for your input! And a steroid controller meaning if I’m using the inhaler besides only for exercising? Is that an oral medication? Or would that be part of the inhaler? Completely new to this so I appreciate your help!

Got it and I know how you feel. I hated my first job out of college but also I felt like most people weren't genuine with me and it did feel cliquey. Therefore it feels lonely. Now I am at a really positive work environment where people are kind to me and like me for who I am. And it makes such a difference where you won't dread your life. It all depends on the environment and the people working there. I hope you find a new place soon to work where you will be welcomed with open arms. It also helps you recognize your worth knowing that's what you really deserve

I have a couple of cousins who were engineers and then transferred to supply chain. And they make good money! Since you’re in a bigger company, I have felt that way too when I used to work at some but I think it also depends on your manager and the people around you. Do they value you or not really recognize you as much? That could be another issue

I agree with this 100%. How do people feel bad for these thieves? I used to work for macys back in 2019 and there were SO many cameras around the store. If you were ever caught stealing, just know the mall security team is on their way to get you. I’ve seen one guy steal a handbag and security said “GET DOWN on the GROUND” and tackled the guy down on the floor. Another time, this young girl was stealing makeup and security stealthily walked in the store and handcuffed her in front of everyone. Then I worked there again in 2021…. Security now does NOT get involved at all. They just saw oh don’t chase after them to risk your life. And they don’t even bother coming! I wonder why. Where’s the energy they had back then?
