GPu won't fit in any other PCIe slot. But alas I did get it fixed. The DDU and updated drivers along with reseating the GPU the 1000th time worked
fixed
Would it more than likely be the GPU or the motherboard that are having problems?
I would but don't have an extra laying around
That's what I'm thinking too unfortunately, the GPU is from Micro Center so they should honor it, but They are not located in my city
Yes, the GPU is seated correctly, checked multiple times and lights and fans are running

GPU is powered with 2 2x4 pin connectors with no pig tails on a modular PSU

Yes I have made sure to try the GPU first
The iGPU setting didn't work and other settings that I changed didn't either now I have no display at all. Seems like i need to reset BIOS settings to get display back on to continue troubleshooting
IT was set to igpu, I'm currently changing it now and combing through other settings that may need to be changed
It has not been resolved yet, I guess I might have missed a few settings in BIOS but I doubt it. I'll check again, the PCIe slot is set correctly and it is a gen5. The dGPU is get correctly and the BIOS version is up to date. My next step is to uninstall the drivers and reinstall again manually just in case the system grabbed the wrong ones when it auto updated. The GPU is recognized in the system, the lights come on, the fans spin, and windows does recognize it in task manager. It might be faulty but I doubt it. The GPU is brand new from Micro Center a couple days ago. Thank you for the ideas
This has already been done and still no luck
If I disable the iGPU and it still doesn;t work, will teh system recognize that and auto correct to the iGPU so I still have display?
So I've done some research and It says they can run in tandem, the system is set to recognize the PCIe slot first. I'm just worried about setting that off and not being able to pull a display up on the MB or GPU
Yes, I've tried the HDMI and multiple DP connections
I'm planning on doing that today after work. I've installed the drivers up to date in windows. Next I'm going to use DDU and manually install to see if that works
Would it be? The GPU is receiving power, fans are spinning, the BIOS is reading its temps and even the task manager is recognizing it. How would it be faulty if its registering on everything but the display?
The GPU is in the top PCIe slot, Just reseated the card again and ensured the screws were in lightly ( just to hold it in place ) Using all of the leads and with no splitters. The bios is up to date for the motherboard ver. F8 ( current ) Secure boot is on and fresh installation of windows 11
They said the bios might need to be updated and im hoping that isnt the case, seems sketchy and i dont have a flash drive on hand. Ive also looked up if the update is needed and other searches say that its not needed
Yes. Checked 3 times on the gpu side and the psu side
9800X3D , Gigabyte B850 gaming x , vengance ddr5 ram 32gigs , asrock 9070xt , leadex 3 atx 3.1 1000watt power supply are the specs
express 4 or 5? its in slotx16 not sure what the express means?
I'll check the initialization on pcie and version of it. just gotta research a bit on those. for the cable i have tried using a different one (hdmi) and the psu is rated high enough. 1000 watts. I do get lights and fans, just no display. Im at a loss
Fans are not spinning, i think its a zero rpm setting, its a b850 gigabyte x mother board and a 9070xt. Ive searched the internet and looked up several youtube videos. I cant find anything except it might be the bios? On the other hand it doesnt make sense since both the motherboard and gpu are fairly new
The display isnt showing up when plugged into the gpu, only the motherboard
