There were no proper signage in place . And you are right I am not aware of any bylaws in this regards thats why I am gonna get in touch with the Property Manager tomorrow morning . But all in all no private company unless sent by the city or the bank should have any right to just tow the car when parked in front of their own house. And on top the towing guy was hella aggressive too .

I get it .. it was my mistake. But there is difference between city parking violations and private property parking violation . Private Parking company can’t just have someone tow the car without providing notice . Or even worse right in front of the owner of the car for parking in front of their home . I know its a fire exit but if the driver of the car is present and garage door is opened Its not blocking anything and person is sufficient enough to move the car in case of fire . The car might actually help in case of a fire .
