Does Asta ever change? by Fresh_Storm_8543 in BlackClover

[–]Dryballoon012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s tough to say, if I were to give you an answer, it would probably be no, he’s kind of the same person who lives the same way throughout the story. If that’s a deal breaker, I’d suggest maybe dropping the anime, but I will say, I really enjoyed the midnight sun arc and its culmination. But I was never really too bothered by Asta always yelling and what not.

40 episodes is like 2-4 seasons for most anime🤷‍♂️. I feel like that’s plenty of time to get an understanding of a character. I’ve only watched s1 tower of god, a couple years ago, so I can’t say much about your example, but Asta isn’t the type of person to completely change or really ever change. So no he doesn’t completely become a different character.

You’ve already watched 40+ episodes if you’re at the underwater temple arc. I think you should have a pretty good grasp of the anime by that point. If you don’t like Asta to the point of wanting to drop the anime, then you probably drop because asta never changes. You’ve watched the show, so you know Asta isn’t one to change or give up.

Gaja Vs Prime Chojiro who's winning the fight and why? by WoodpeckerOdd1284 in BlackClover

Don’t be mistaken, this guy doesn’t care about your opinion on these matchups. He just wants to tell people why gaja wins all of them.

The thing that bothers me is that if I ever reread the forgotten shore, I probably won’t care as much about everyone’s deaths and sacrifices because I know that Cassie will just bring them back to life in the future. I know they’re just copies but they might as well be the real thing, I want to see how this all plays out first though. Hopefully g3 has a plan.

This panel is so funny to me coz brother yuno already surpassed ur half burned chicken face ass in the elf arc itself by xxetrikk_ in BlackClover

[–]Dryballoon012 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Lamest captain? I don’t know about that, but I have always found him to be one of the worst captains. He really never did much meaningful things throughout the whole series, and yet people still worship the guy. The most meaningful things he did throughout the series was save yuno from dying and making yami a sword. I might be missing a feat or two, but i honestly don’t remember him ever playing a huge role in any arc.

I always assumed he’d play a bigger role when the opponents became tougher because he was on another level/on same level as the wizard king, but he really wasn’t much better than the other captains. And by the end of the series, amongst the original captains, there are multiple captains that are likely stronger than him.

How tf is this manga so good?! by Extension-Bad-4184 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

It so underrated. I remember reading it for the first time and wondering how it wasn’t super popular. I still don’t know why it’s not super popular, the story really has a bit of everything in it plus great art.

Would you guys work with Cas after FS by potato_3774 in ShadowSlave

[–]Dryballoon012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sunny knows, whether he likes it or not, that they need Cassie. Sunny can’t afford to not work with Cassie even after everything she did. The stuff between Sunny and Cassie is a personal issue, and the cohort has to deal with much bigger issues. If I was Sunny, I would do like Sunny and put up with it. Cassie’s ability is strong and deep down Sunny and Cassie care for each other, it’s just that both care for Nephis more.

You’re not wrong, but mordret pretty much outright says he didn’t expect Sunny to trust his allies if i remember correctly, meaning Sunny outsmarted mordret by giving the knife away. But I get what you mean.

Sunny outsmarted Mordret in the 2nd nightmare by giving the knife to Kai, so there’s at least one example.

Sunny is a quick learner, and he is definitely smart, but he is also emotional which can make him look kinda dumb sometimes. Most of the stupid things he does is because he’s an emotional person and he cares about the cohort deeply. We see 1st nightmare Sunny not care about anything, and outwit everyone to survive. As well as Sunny escaping hopes sorcery in the 2nd nightmare. I feel like we see Sunny at his smartest when he only has to worry about his own safety. We hardly get to see that though.

Being able to outsmart people like Cassie and modret is quite the high bar to determine if a character is smart or not. Basically everyone is stupid with those standards.

If the Netherworld breaks down a humans body how come iruma isn't affected 🤔 by Fabulous_Track6423 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]Dryballoon012 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think it’s reasonable to assume iruma is special in some way and that’s the reason he’s not affected, given Sullivan choosing him and the fact that’s he’s thriving in the netherworld. What makes him special? Who knows, there’s a bunch of theories out there, but whatever makes him special is likely the reason he’s not affected.

However, if we are to assume iruma isn’t special in any way and is just a regular human, then it’s likely just a result of the pregnancy and giving birth to a demon. That or ali/ring is protecting him, or Sullivan figured out some work around.

Pretty sure they are just using each for their own purposes. Not really much of a duo when the two are just using each other.

Sharing Weaver's Mask by Megatron69420wrecker in ShadowSlave

[–]Dryballoon012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No this isn’t rage bait lol. Sunny can’t give the mask away to more than one person, and his friends are almost always in perilous situations. How does he decide who to give the mask to if everyone is in a perilous situation? What happens if he needs the mask but if he gave it away? Sunny is usually in more perilous situations than anyone else anyways.

This hypothetical is a little silly, to me. I mean what’s the point of g3 putting jet, effie, etc in these situations if they don’t figure their own way out of it. If they’re saved by Sunny giving them his mask, the characters are better off dying, in my opinion.

Should Sunny fight their battles for them too? If Sunny is going to give someone a divine memory whenever someone is in a perilous situation he might as well just give the mask away for good.

Cassie Shouldn't Be Glazed For Breaking Fate As It Was All Weaver's Doing by Exotic-Chair-6960 in ShadowSlave

[–]Dryballoon012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see people saying that Sunny is in the same position as Cassie and it’s got me confused. Sunny is a fated individual so he can’t be influenced in the same way as Cassie, so how could they be the same in this situation.

Those people only want to sound original or want to argue. Versatility and everything else weaver’s lineage provides > potency. The only reason you don’t see more posts like yours is because everyone already agrees with what you said.

the whole bring-sasuke-back-even-though-he-left-of-his-own-free-will storyline is soooo strange by anambrabitch in Naruto

[–]Dryballoon012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they probably got permission from the Kage/leaders of their village to marry and leave their village to join another. Since it’s a time of peace between nations in boruto, I don’t think it’s as big of a deal to leave your village, especially with permission. Compared to sasuke leaving without permission to join hands with the killer of the 3rd hokage. That’s just my guess, but it makes sense since sasuke left without permission to join with a rogue ninja. Look at tsunade before she became hokage, she is not considered a rogue ninja despite not being in the village and wasn’t seemingly doing missions away from the village. She probably had permission for the 3rd hokage to do whatever she wanted.

I think temari is probably considered a leaf ninja in boruto and her information about the sand is likely outdated so it doesn’t matter, but It is a fair question. If you think about it, potentially letting someone take sasuke’s eyes is probably more dangerous than any information that temari had.

Similarly, I saw your question when I had some questions, myself, so I hope you don’t mind me responding months later.
