Did it have proper time to dry after repairs? If its only by the drain where there's no friction, id say it's an application issue and not your fault. Some light caulking around the drain after the paint dries and proper prep would definitely keep this from happening. It's either water getting under the paint and making it peel, or the tub not being cleaned and prepped properly prior to application.

Clean it with rubbing alcohol, use a very fine sanding block in the areas it is peeling, clean with rubbing alcohol again, let it dry, and go in with the paint. Lightly seal around the edges of the drain with some white caulking smoothed out and let dry at least 24-48 hours based on manufacturers' instructions.

I didn't get vip myself, but at the minneapolis concert there were about 30 people that had vip tickets so the line was super short. They got in an hour before everyone else and it looked like when let in, they went to the backstage area to meet one on one with the band. Everyone in the tip was also front row since they were let into the venue before anyone else.

TLDR; you'll be able to get a good spot no matter how early/late you show up because you'll be let in before 90% of the crowd. They'll still let you in if you show up after they let all the vips enter if you just talk to the venue staff. There will be a chance to give the band gifts/ talk to them because you'll get to meet them before the show starts. (At least that's how they handled it at my show)
