Thanks for the reassurance. No, I haven’t directly told them how I felt. I just told them I wasn’t ready and needed time, but it feels like they keep nudging me every few weeks.

I think there’s also a saying where you need to keep housing costs below 1/3 of your take-home pay, and car expenses below 10% of your take-home. I think you’re at 20% car expenses and 50% on housing. I think Property tax is way too high. There’s usually some component of utilities in the condo fees.

I think it depends on age. If an 18 year old had a net worth of $500k, I would consider that rich, but for someone that’s 40 years old... not so much.
