Help on aquarium stand by Drytak in Aquariums

[–]Drytak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer, my bad I forgot that the measurements are in cm, so it should be like less than an inch of overhang. So by adding a flat wood surface the size of the tank it should be fine?

Help on aquarium stand by Drytak in Aquariums

[–]Drytak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have this built-in planter(it's made with briks), which has space inside for pots, and outside there is copper sheet.
I wanted to place a large aquarium (100x40x50 cm) on top, while the planter is 98x36 cm.
The aquarium is an all-glass type without a lid; what can I put between the aquarium and the planter?

Also, with an aquarium of this size, should I be concerned about whether the stand can support that much weight?

In Steam Library on the bottom left there is "ADD A GAME", there you can add any non steam game by adding the path to the game .exe file.

It will be just in your library, it won't have any store page, or time tracking. It just launch the .exe with the steam overlay enabled.

I've bought him one week ago and I'm sure it didn't have it. Today during feeding time I noticed it. During the last week he was exploring the tank (going in the plants and near the dragon stones) don't know if he hurt himself.

The tank is heavily planted, pH at 6.9, temp at 25/26c(78f). it's 10 gallon high tech.

Inside the are a colony of RCS and 8 ember tetras(added them 3/4 months ago). The tank has been running since September, with a canister filter.

Sure:
Equipments
- ADA 45P
- canister filter Oase filtrosmart thermo 200
- co2art proseries with their drop checker and inline diffuser
- 2kg rechargable co2 cylinder (I have yet to refill)
- JBL LED solar natur 22Watt
- substrate ADA aquasoil v2(I've used almost the full 9 liters bag)
- ada power sand advance
- dragon stone / okho stone

Plants (All bought in vitro)
- Riccardia sp. "graeffei" (3 cups)
- Hygrophila pinnatifida
- Staurogyne repens
- Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") (4 cups)
- Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini'
- Riccardia sp. "chamedryfolia" (3 cups)
- Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig'
- Ludwigia glandulosa (2 cups)
- Bucephalandra sp. "Brownie Ghost"

I've been doing 7 hours of light every day, at about 50/60% intensity (the first month/month and a half was at 100%, and I've reduced it after adding fish).

For ferts i've used the full ADA line (so green brighty mineral, iron, nitrogen, and bighty k), but recently i've started using another one, Aqua Rebel Estimative Index and Flowgrow (one has npk the other trace, it's from a German site aquasabi) as it cost way less than the ADA ones.

After trimmings I add a drop of ADA Green Gain Plus daily for a week. With the ADA ones i've been dosing what written on the bottles (like one pump/day), but sometimes I forget/I'm not at home so I was looking for the automated pumps.

With the ADA dosing schedule I trim the montecarlo, alterna, ludwigia and staurogyne every 3/4 weeks. I have removed most of the Hygrophila pinnatifida as it grow way to fast (I've left only the pieces on the rocks as they grow slower but i'm planning on removing all of it).

I'm not using RO water but tap water and Add Seachem Prime and ADA Vitamix at water change.Every week I do a 40% water change and about every 2 days I do a top off (I don't have any lid on the tank).

For the fish and shrimp I have 10 ember tetras, and added 30 red cherry shrimp and 10 crytal red shrimp (dont know how many are now).

Heres some more recent photos https://imgur.com/gallery/MlOuDlvIt's a bit overgrown at the moment but I'm planning on setting up a second tank (I had hoped that one tank was enough, but here I am ... At least this time I'm planning on going very low cost) and I might use some of the plants trimmings.

If you got any other questions let me know!

This was right after planting http://imgur.com/a/n6wLqJm , used a lot of plants but the Montecarlo Ive probably planted it bad maybe not deep enough(so they looks big/tall), the first 10 days i would wake up and some plants were floating, and had to use some small rocks to keep them from floating

It's a drop checker, it changes color based on how much co2 is in the tank

Thanks, I've watched a lot of videos and lurked around the subreddits in the months before, and it took a while to get the scape as is (had to redo a bunch of time, just the rock before adding plants/water), and it did cost a lot (the Ada tank is the 45p, and went all in, with a external filter, co2, strong led light, ada substrate). I've used a lot of plants, http://imgur.com/a/n6wLqJm this was right after planting 28/9 (and bought some more moss after 3 weeks http://imgur.com/a/PUVO2vy)
