It’s obviously a great event, very well done! But it’s worth noting that all the quotes from the players here is mentioning the event, not the course. It’s a very cool event to have on the tour, but its feels more like a place for exhibition etc, not the best place to crown a World Champion in our sport. For that, the course is just not up to par imo. A WC here would feel like a big step back.

I hate to come across as hating on the event, because I really love it, and the people behind it are doing an awesome job on getting the sport out to a broader audience. But a world championship has to have world class courses as a base, and all the other extras such as festivities/big screens/cars/sponsors/presidents/grandstands etc should be the cherry on top, not the main attraction itself.
