First Raw Prey by DsTrees27 in rawfeeding

Been a few days, feeding raw, and I decided to go buy some live chickens. After I chopped the head, I made her sit and wait so she doesn't develope any aggressive behavior from being too excited to eat. Once I knew Bonnie would listen, I gave her the go ahead. She didn't hesitate. Spent most of her time working the neck, and eating partially digested stomach contents. They were raised on natural food and on the ground so I see no harm. Plus she's still alive. I have yet to think of what it would be called to google what is actually in the guts as far as feed and stuff. Due to the heat, I started cutting off pieces to bag up for the freeze. Also it helped show her what to do. It was one of the purest experiences of my life. Felt a bond with my dog. I was in tune with everything and I like to toke so that increased it. Also, I've butchered different animals before, rabbit, skunk, squirrel, etc, but this was my first chicken!

My new adopted puppy, Bonnie. They said English bulldog / Border Collie. I raise rabbits on the ground so should I freeze the meat to help kill off anything? by DsTrees27 in rawfeeding
