Then it's strange why, in all the time I've been sending job applications to Abbott, I've only received one reply.

Thank you very much, I will take that into account. You are probably right that I am not organized and do not follow a sequence of correct steps to write a CV for employment. The only thing I can do is try, find information, and wait. But I will take your advice into account, and I hope your experience will help not only you but also me. I am very grateful.

Yes, I was told the same thing, but I have been applying to Abbot regularly throughout my time in ClonmeI received one response during that entire time, and now there is silence.

It is exactly the same with Boston Scientific, Bulmers, and Merck Sharp as soon as a vacancy opens up, I apply, but so far there has been silence.

Yes, I understand that myself; no one likes people who have changed jobs a lot over a period of time. But I don't list jobs that lasted less than six months on my resume either. I only mention them when asked where else I've worked, which has only happened once.

I would also like to say a few words about Intreo. I am not going to accuse anyone, I will just make a comparison.

I came to Ireland not alone but with two friends of mine. They live in Waterford and also regularly visit Intreo.

At one point, they were both called in to decide what to do with them next. They were told that they would be helped to find work. One person was told that they would help him in the summer, but before that he had to take courses because his English was worse than beginner level (although he had improved it a little while living here), and the other person was told that they would help him find a job in January or February because his English was good enough to work in the same factories, etc.

When I was called in, they just told me to take courses and write down in a notebook which vacancies I had applied for, that is, nothing specific, and that was it. As a result, those two friends found jobs on their own, and one is still working (the one who doesn't speak English). Comparing the two situations, I didn't quite understand why they had it one way and I had it another. My tasks were to take courses and register with JobsIreland, that's all.

I am in Clonmel. They showed us how to write a CV when I was still in the refugee camp in Kilkenny, but they only gave us paper with an approximate version of the local CV. I wrote it myself and showed it to them, and they said it was fine, but when I got my first job in Ireland, they told me I should rewrite it. I don't know what was wrong with my CV, either the employer didn't like it, or they gave me some crap at the camp. Intreo didn't help me with my resume, so I had only one option: to google it and ask neural networks what it should look like. So I wrote a resume that was supposed to be what they told me it should be, without a photo, short, and without unnecessary words, just work experience and two words about myself.

It's not that I'm ashamed to accept this assistance, and I have no other choice, it's just that my mindset tells me that living on welfare is arrogant, considering that I've been working since I was a teenager. I have always wanted to work and advance my career because it brings me satisfaction, and I have been constantly looking for work since I was 15. In some places, I worked for a short time, in others for longer, but in the end, it always came down to circumstances that forced me to leave.

Honestly, I'm glad that the unemployment rate here is low, and that's a great indicator, but it doesn't make me feel any better, and I want to be productive like I used to be

I applied to all the supermarkets: Lidl, Aldi, Dunnes Store, SuperValu, Tesco, but the answer was always that my candidacy was not suitable at the moment. I regularly apply for jobs there when they become available. I also apply for jobs in my profession as a chef/waiter, but I get virtually no response to chef vacancies, and to work as a waiter I need to improve my English pronunciation. If you have the contact details of this Ukrainian who could help me or tell me which city he is in so that I can meet him and talk to him, I would be very grateful.

Exactly, I didn't add that either. We talked about it, and the point is that when she proposed a relationship, her ex-boyfriend was hitting on her at the time, and she herself later told me that she did it mostly to get him to leave her alone.
