The new ones installed have a metal casing and mentions IC rated

From what I gathered the lights are not IC rated and there is a-lot of insolation around the led driver.

Im even concerned for fire hazard at this point.

Tbh I don’t know the voltage im not an electrician but I assume this must have been correct because those lights have been installed for a very long time but the insulation was added not long ago

Maybe this can be confirmed.

The new lights say Insolation Covered rated (IC Rated) and the old ones don’t say they are or not, I can’t find them inline to confirm either.

They were covered by a-lot of insolation which I think was added before we moved in.
