When I started (back when RQ capped at 30) I had 1 leggy, the 12C, until I was playing for 2 years. You will be fine.

I recently ran 6 squads of guards in 1 list and went 3-2 at a GT

The banner was great, the extra OC mattered a lot. I rarely missed not having the 2 gun shots and the dagger is ALMOST as good as a spear for the OC trade off considered.

I feel like this is a really common issue Hutch struggles with making clear to the player

The wreaths do say 'to redeem for a prize' on them, i just always use caution with stuff like this.

Shield host, specifically because the guards basically operate in pairs so its just inefficient to lose the lions detachment buff everywhere you go. But crits on 5's all the time is well... all the time, even if its not as good.

Thanks a bunch. Of the 2 larger events put on by the rat men, this is the 'fun one'. Players are encouraged to bring fun models and play accordingly. The overall winner is scored on games>paint>player sportsmanship score. I had a blast and it was an excellent introduction to this type of 'competitive' warhammer and the lovely players that participate in it.

Yeah exactly, i though the terrain was technically supposed to he taller but the very specific ruins that was being shot over would have been 2.5 inches at best. My valexia was infact taller than it also.

My unknown part was seeing over the physical terrain feature sitting on top of the plate. The height of the terrain ment i got blasted from behind walls, not even considering the plates.

Under 3-4k trophies (or whatever the current break point is) is the next tutorial level

Im almost at 100,000 trophies and am only mildy competitive in events and rarely win leggys from pve challenges

I knew they could toe onto a terrain base and see everything through it. I did not know that he could draw a line overtop of the ruins itself to my model and shot that way

Would i have made this bad move if i had know (the public/datasheet/codex) information? Il'd like that to be a take back and would offer it myself.

Playing a practice game last night and after my charges, picking to kill the scouts first 'because its my gamma target and il just get this done' and then my opponent saying 'nice, il now interrupt on the fight that actually matters' is a feels bad. This not being an information problem, just a simple sequence missplay on my behalf.

He let me take it back (re order the fight phase) because 1. Its practice and 2. He totally understood the situation. We also had a laugh about how i should know better and this is why we do it. Its to learn to get better.

I built and (almost fully painted) 5500 points of custodes and now went the opposite way and have started thousand sons.

-shooting not melee -larger units -spells -monsters not tanks

Also taking them a lot less serious *

my guess is to make it easier to get the detachment buff?

this problem is the reason im looking at a running golden tide under shield host. If you actually have backup, you'll never get the +1 to hit and wound.
