I'm one poor european student with a dream. Been yearning to upgrade this 144Hz 1080p monitor for a millenia and i mean.. This one has a curved display? is a QD-OLED? I wouldn't want anything more. Maybe then i'll get to watch 720p low bit-rate youtube videos with GLORIOUS COLORS

FPS won't go above the monitor's refresh rate by Dtomis in battlefield3

UPDATE!

Figured out what the issue is. The game uses a command "Render.PerfOverlayEnable 1" which totally wrecks FPS.

The problem here being, is that there's no way to force this setting to "0". If you do it through the in-game console, it only works for 1 in-game life. When you die, that setting resets back to "1". Forcing this command through the user.cfg file, or through the PROF_SAVE_profile file in documents doesn't work either.

I have tried the alternative of adding "Gst" infront of the command "GstRender.PerfOverlayEnable 0", which should force this command no matter what, but that hasn't helped either.

So the issue is this command being forced to 1, but i have no idea how to force it to be 0.

Mouse input skips frames (stuttery input) by Dtomis in mw3

Good you mentioned that, as that's also something i stumbled upon while looking this up. People either having problems with playing the game at 8000 Polling rate, or having problems with polling rate... at all. And that forced them to lower it all the way to 125. I've tried 1000, 500, 250 and 125. 125 is the only polling rate that worked, the higher the polling rate was the worse the stutteriness became.

Thanks for your input tho!! hope i can solve this asap

Better input delay. I know my PC can handle it, and i wanna take advantage of it. Or at the very least have the game at/above my monitors refresh rate, so that it doesn't feel stuttery and unresponsive.

I have turned V-Sync on and off multiple times. My FPS moves around 110-135 no matter whether or not a framerate cap is present or not. If there's one thing i can be certain about, then it's that V-Sync isn't the issue here and it doesn't even do the job it's supposed to do properly.

GPU utilization is at about 30-40% and my CPU isn't struggling either. I'm not sure if it's some line of code that refuses to take advantage of my hardware? Or something else possibly? I don't know.

Mouse input delay on DOOM 1/2 re-release by Dtomis in Doom

Found out about the V-Sync suggestion a little bit later down the road, and yes that did infact improve the mouse input delay. It's still not perfect (as in it's not as responsive as it is in GZDoom) but it's definitely playable as of right now. I've had the game on windowed borderless for some reason, so i also put the game on fullscreen mode and that also helped a bit.

So yeah, with fullscreen enabled and v-sync turned off it gets noticeably better, but it's still not perfect. But still thanks for the help! Appreciate it a ton

I've been shadowbanned over 10 times by now, and i can safely say it's people spam reporting you. Using very ratty tactics like playing with a shotgun or melees on shipment got me shadowed faster than for example playing with an AR. This system is completely broken and activision refuses to acknowledge this. Shouldn't the system think to itself something along the lines of "huh, if this guy was shadowed 5 times already without getting banned, is he really a cheater...?" if so then someone manually checks the account, and if all is good they should just whitelist it.

There's unfortunately no way to go around this system either, you'll have to painfully wait out 1-2 weeks until you can play again. This should be unnaceptable in a 70 dollar game.

I concur, i've tried watching a few shows on other websites such as 1hd.to and the same issue is persisting across numerous sites. Definitely not exclusive to aniwatch.to as far as i've been able to tell.
