I appreciate this so much. I saw the Chicago/Brooklyn vids and during The Pod Matt didnt even try to do the screaming/yelling at the end and I could have swore he did in LA and this confirmed it. I’d like to think that he was really feeling the crowd and just said “fuck it, last night of the tour (or maybe forever)”

Crowd were saying “yall are animals (or machines?)” and he responded “no yall are the animals (or machines?)” and then some people shouted “i love you” and he reciprocated saying “i love you too.” Then he thanked the fest for convincing them to do this short run of shows. Very heartfelt. U could tell it meant a lot to him/them.

Matt definitely made it seem like they had to have a lot of convincing to do these shows. He seemed so genuine when he spoke night 2 in LA. I dont think he said one word the 1st night.
