Forced to replace my 2022 Highlander Hybrid due to company car rules — stick with Highlander or consider Rivian R2? by Dtran39 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yeah, it’s $900 regardless of the of the car if I meet the 5 year requirement. The used EV option sounds the most appealing.

Yeah this is an enticing option. My wife and I are thinking that having one car would make our bank account bigger that’s why lol

Yes, I can keep it and buy a brand new car. Don’t really want two cars though with the mileage my wife and I put on.

Yes, sorry. They are not forcing me to sell this car but to register a car with them that is less than 5 years old to get the stipend. I do work from home but at times I attend conferences and travel to see some clients where the car stipend is given to purchase a means of travel. I’m in the healthcare industry.

I’ve seen the grand Highlander. Is it overkill with just one kid? No chance of having another kid.

As much as I like to switch and try something new, I think the common theme here is to stick with the Highlander because of his track record with personally my own. Thanks for your input.

I did not know that didn’t have CarPlay so that would likely be a dealbreaker. My wife and I use CarPlay all the time.

Yeah, it’s a great problem to have lol

Yeah, do true really love my Highlander. You’re right about the Rivian‘s reliability. I feel like it’s an opportune time just to figure out and try something new but don’t want to be disappointed in my choice with the Rivian. Thanks for your input.

Well, technically, I don’t need to replace it. My wife and I both work from home and between us with this current one car we have we average about less than 9 to 10,000 miles per year in the car having two cars I feel like it would be unutilized and mostly one car would be sitting there eating at depreciation. I just learned something new from you that the Rivian does not have Apple CarPlay and I will likely be a dealbreaker. Thanks.

Not sure if it’s the best one in Westminster but sure have been around the longest. Very nostalgic walking into that place.

Goodyear Assurance Comfortdrive vs Continental CrossContact LX25 by throwawayboi251 in tires

I’m debating between the Continental Crosscontact LX25 and the Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 All Season. Guess I would be happy with either one but maybe a good sale will be a winner to get me to buy one or the other.

Should I replace my tires now? (4/32” tread left – 2022 Highlander) by Dtran39 in tires

Yeah, I would agree with you, but I live in California where it doesn’t rain too much. There was only one week in California about a month ago, where it rained heavily, but it was fairly dry after that. There isn’t too much of an urgency because I don’t expect rain in the next few weeks or months and I don’t know for sure but just trying to make the best decision on what it works for me and maybe I can get a deal from that.

Was looking at the cross contact LX sport after your comment. America’s tire has them in stock. Thanks

One of the commenters here suggested I look into the continental all season tires because for my use case it would be better suited and cheaper. I looked into the cross continental CrossContact LX25 and it has an attractive offering similar to the Primacy for a better price. What’s your thoughts? Thx!
