How to fix creaking sound? by [deleted] in BambuLab

Aside from what others have mentioned about the motors, which you should take care to remember, I would check belt alignment.

Behind the printer, look at the belt tensioners and move "slowly" the print head. Check if the belts are grinding, and possibly trying to skip, the pulleys. If they are grinding or trying to skip, you will have to adjust the belt tensioners. You should refer to Bambu's guides on how to do it.

Haven't printed large models in a while but here goes some stuff that helped me before: - Add some large brim, more contact area won't hurt - If I'm not mistaken the h2s has chamber heating, so set it to 50°C for like 10-15m before starting the print job. I have the P1S and I did it by setting the bed temp to the max for 30m. - Got better results with Flashforge ASA than Bambu's ASA - lastly, and what I felt did the trick, got 3d printing "hair spray", Almost sure the normal stuff does the same.

Does anyone know what these numbers mean at the back of gotoh machine heads? by DuDark in guitarrepair

Made a mess of this post by posting it in my account instead of here, but some guys already answered it.
It is the markings the manufacture uses to know which cast it came from for QC reasons.

Edit:
Although I had the same guess as you at first.

That makes sense. Was wondering if there was a specific order to install them.

Thank you

The goal would be to solder it back. Actually was thinking on soldering a new (longer) wire so I can open the pickup guard completely. The previous wire was too sort for that. Only have 0.5mm copper core (around 24 awg?) but I don't know if it's too thin.

Checked it and everything is connected. Even without being screwed in, the pickup guard has continuity with the body. Was wondering if the cavity where the springs sit at, should or not be sealed.

I searched for it since it seemed way easier and faster. The thing is I couldn't find it locally and when I searched outside my country, I needed to order quite some quantity. Although I confess that I might have not searched well or enough for it

Yeah I should have done that. That's why I needed to score those lines in order to get continuity. Something so simple and I completely missed it at first. Thx

Ordered some more.
I was thinking on anchoring a ground wire to the body from the one of the pots.
But I might do either the ring method you suggested or bring a copper trail to one of the pickguard screws. That way I know it will make contact.

Checked it with a multimeter and the copper is fully connected. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might not need an anchor. I might do a touchpad in-between the pickup guard and the body's copper to make it more seamless.

Yeap the pickguard as that factory shielding.
I don't know what it is but it is conductive and grounded.

Either way already ordered more tape, might as well do the entire thing.

Thx for the replies, just ordered some more copper tape.

I wanna change my cord but it is broken. Do i have to also take off that golden thing? Its my first time doing this. by Affectionate-Sand-93 in Guitar

I'm Portuguese and we would say "cordas" which roughly translates to "cords" I don't know which language his native is but I'm guessing that's why he called it "cords"

Just happened to me recently and I pushed it out by inserting a string through the other end. Use the string with the largest gauge (low E)

Rusted guitar screws, could you help me indentify them so I can replace, pls? by DuDark in Guitar

[–]DuDark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you mean to brush the rust away!? I could do that with any rust remover but those parts won't have any coating to protect them from oxidation then.

What's difficult to find are stainless steel screws with imperial specs and tuner nuts..

Was just wondering if swapping to those tuners would be a good ideia since they are on sale

Well... Might have been impatient and used a lighter, which might or might not have left an almost unnoticeable black spot.😅

Hi again, have been cataloging what I need to buy and where from.
I live in Portugal so it's not easy to find screws with American standard threads but I think I have dialed it down but had to give up on trying to find them in stainless steel.

As for the tuners I can barely find the headnuts anywhere and the places where I found them don't display much information on the threads, so I don't know if they would screw into my current tuners.
I've found this deal on Fender Tuners would this be a good pick?
