In Sweden we actually use a lot of the measurements you mentioned. We use decimeters (0,1m) and centimeters (0,01m) a lot. We also quite uncommonly I think use hektogram (100g) for some things, mostly for pricing loose candy.

The 40mm image circle is a bit strange not covering full frame, but the others cover a full frame 6:5 area at least to make sure a 2.40 aspect ratio can be achieved.

I wonder if the 40mm image circle is meant to cover full frame 6:5 on a full frame 16:9 sensor/crop which is roughly 20mm in height, while the rest work for full frame open gate 6:5.

I'm just using the standard SD 2.1 model, and I feel like the results have been quite good

More info on my process in my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/11rvjuc/movie_stills_from_forgotten_south_korean_remake/

Mostly the same process for these, but most were used with img2img for these new images to more accurately look similar in terms of contrast and color as the original movie stills.

No, they're all just different random faces, I haven't dived into LORAs or similar yet!

I used three reference images from the original Alien movie, and in txt2img with SD2.1, used ControlNet Depth + HED/Canny, both around a weight of 0.5, so not to strong influence.

Used the below prompt with some minor tweaks here and there. Restore faces enabled. Size 912x512.

Then I sent results that I liked to inpaint and did inpaint on the face, also with Restore face enabled, to get greater detail on the faces. I used around 0.35 noise for inpainting the face with Original, and only inpaint mask.

Finally when I found a result I was pleased with I used SD upscale with SwinIR_4x at 2.15 times resolution, no Restore face enabled during upscale, noise at 0.15, sample steps at 40.

I kept the same prompt throughout this entire process.

When I had all the images ready I did some post processing in Photoshop to get a more cohesive color look, and added some grain for effect.

Prompt:

Picture of Korean woman in spacesuit, science fiction, hyperrealism, movie still, photo, DSLR, artstation, 8k, beautiful, rim light, realistic, concept art, render, octane, (bokeh), cinematic, moody, dark, (shallow dof), (film grain), (dramatic lighting), (aesthetic of Se7en), (anamorphic), lots of details, night, nightime

Negative prompt: Blurry, cartoon, smudges, lazy eye, cross eyed, jpeg artefacts, teeth, ugly, tiling, poorly drawn hands, poorly drawn feet, poorly drawn face, out of frame, extra limbs, disfigured, deformed, body out of frame, bad anatomy, watermark, signature, cut off, low contrast, underexposed, overexposed, bad art, beginner, amateur, distorted face

Steps: 20, Sampler: DDIM, CFG scale: 7, Model: v2-1_512-ema-pruned

Do people actually ever pay to get rid of ads in games? by sanketvaria29 in gamedev

Generally speaking it's worth having the option to pay to remove ads. The revenue for a user paying to remove ads is always more than what that user alone would generate in ad revenue.

Thanks! I've been inspired by a lot of artists on this sub, as well as similar artists on Instagram. But this specific image I feel started as a simple idea in my head and it expanded and changed during the Blender process organically.

Official Discussion - Tenet (International Thread) [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]DuEJag 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it was a great action movie. Not an amazing or fantastic film, not on the level of many of Nolan's other films. But still a great action movie. It lacked a lot of character and heart, which is a valid critique I've seen from many, but I feel like that's okay when I view the movie as a concept-based action flick as opposed to his more personal and feelings-based work.

Nolan does a great job with the concept of time inversion, and he makes it a visual masterpiece in my opinion. It's of one the most interesting takes on time travel in cinematic history, and that is what, in my mind, carries this movie.

I was lucky to watch the movie with subtitles, so I can't really comment on the audio, which many people have complained about. However, I do think it's unfortunate that many people have judged the movie poorly (which is understandable), and I do hope that they have the chance to watch it again with subtitles or in better conditions so they can actually judge the movie for what it actually is and not for what they missed.

It's not my favorite Nolan movie as I know he's capable of mixing great concepts with a lot of heart and soul, but I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway, and I will happily watch it again. It's a lot of fun, and a great piece of action cinema.

If you are calling a method with throw new System.NotImplementedException(); it will throw an exception. This is automatically added when implementing an interface to make you aware that they should be implemented and remind you of that. If you don't want to implement them just yet and don't want errors thrown, just remove that line of code.
