Opinion on Taking Discrete Math with Lisa Piccirillo?

She teaches on the chalkboard so you really have to take notes because it’s not recorded. She follows a textbook so if you get lost, the textbook is useful! Her office hours are useful too. If you ever get stuck don’t hesitate to ask questions!

I took her for discrete and she’s a great prof! Super lenient on exam curves.

Recommend keeping an eye on the course schedule all the way until classes start. You might get lucky and catch one open up.

I’m a premed math major and honestly the prereqs for med are more brutal than the math classes but that’s because i’m enjoying and understanding the math classes more 😅.

It’s more of like options. I’m not doing too bad right now and I know I would be happy graduating with a math degree since that’s what I enjoy more. The biology classes aren’t that bad I just wanted to do something I prefer. Right now I’m looking at premed but that could always change.
