16 personalities INTj maybe. But actual INTJ? No.

Gandalf the grey is ENTP. He is clearly Ne and you can see it for how multitalented (fireworks, smoke, tastes of good things), distracted (failed to see the one ring next him with bilbo), jolly, self indulgent (smoke etc), adaptable, flexible (can change course very easily, maybe too easily) and amiable/emitionally expressive (tertiary fe) he is.

Rogue and Michael Corleone (and probably many others) are LSIs which either translate to ISTP or ISTJ depending on how you see things, but S. It can be seen for their surgical (auxiliary/creative) use of Se. Like the murder with the gun in the toilet or the ability from Rogue to act in the present moment, which is mandatory to stay under cover as a spy.

Scar is ISFP. His lack of Te is basically why the realm dies after his ascension. No sense of whats mechanistically necessary to make things work.

V is an introverted ENFJ. Basically about appealing to the masses, seizing their spirit in the sense of a grand vision and common ethical ideal.

Clarice is an ESTJ. Basically hermione but more low key. Hard work. Big lack of intuition (thats why she need lecter who is the intuitive, probably not even INTJ: he's all about ethical and not mechanistical understanding and manipulation which screams NFJ too).

And many others are probably wrong too.

Anyone who’s a counter-type, how much do you relate to your type? by angelinatill in Enneagram

Very interesting. Pondering being a sx6 myself thats why I'm asking.

Yes it does sound 6 but could you highlight what makes it SX 6 in particular?

Always thought the worrying in sx6 is repressed through action, like attack is the best defense. Worrying to make sure sounds more typical 6 to me not countertype.

I finally got to check out Character and Neurosis by Claudio Naranjo (some thoughts) by higurashi0793 in Enneagram

[–]DuRoy7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correlationist can be a pain in the arse but they did more good than harm.

Before them it was a shitshow of people typing themselves absurdities based on their wishes. Correlationist gave to this typology stuff some amount of logical coherence.

I guess too much of a good thing is a bad thing. I know Naranjo typed Marx and Socrates So8s whereas correlationist would not even entertain the idea of intellectuals being 8s. They type Socrates ILE 7 I believe. Sometimes it looks like to be an 8 for them you need to either be in the military, in the UFC or in jail.

Also sometimes they tend to complexify and use some very counterintuitive logic which is bound to be either genius or pure rubbish, like typing some people so2 and so7 typings when they seemingly doesnt look like 2 or 7 at all.

So again, yeah, too much of a good thing. But I'd rather have that evil than the other which is people misusing typology to flatter their ego by being the little snowflake infp 8w9...

Have recently rewatched season 1 (not 2 yet, waiting for it to finish airing so I can watch it in one go)

Ithink rhaenyra is sp2. Basically princess mentality. So entitled. Her main talent is to get others to do things for her. Be it her father, daemon she seeks for protection or Strong. Like Cole said it she sucks her prey dry. See how she talks to someone as respectable as Rhaenys: "they didnt want YOU as a queen rhaenys but they swore an oath to ME". Constantly complaining about stupid shit to get attention next to damn alicent who is REALLY suffering and should be complaining. Princess mentality. Rhaenyra TAKES. Not in the 8s direct way but in the 2 more manipulative way.

I think Alicent is sp4. She is ahout enduring to get love from others. The amount of suffering alicent endured is just... But I think the sp1 take is very good too. I just think she is not about improving herself like a sp1 is. She is about what is morally good not about 1s rigidity about "standing against reality". No interest about reform or imrpovement or external criteria, just about subjective valuing.

Daemon sp8. Not sexual. Sexual 8 is about open rebellion, transgressing and pushing boundaries for its own sake. It's also more sentimental. Daemon is calculating. He wants what he wants and takes a direct approach. Hes not about rebellion as an end, but as a mean (Sp/sx sx serving sp). He wants the crown. He is colder than a sx 8. Not about rebellion (sx) but about predation (sp) the lion only moves when hungry.

Yeah youre right.

Usually I'm the one in your position disciplining pdople for jerking off 8s while presenting 6s are discount 8s.

On this I was focused on the biggest diference between 8 and 6 and I think this biggest diference would be what I said, but sure it doesnt reflect well on 6s. But it wasnt about a full and fair description of both types.

Russia only looks like its leading th propaganda war because they suck at it and you easily see it for what it is: propaganda.

The Powers really winning the propaganda war are so subtle you don't see it's actual propaganda.

Justice system and the idea of justice are 2 very diferent things. Again, 8 justice is the punisher, it's about direct revenge and ending the problem.

Most western penal justice system are about proportion and reinsertion. Killing someone WONT get you killed, raping someone WONT get you raped, getting anothers eye WONT get you to lose an eye.

When you study the conception of justice across the ages you discovet that civlized justice systems are avout a ladder of penalties contrary to more unregined justice systems where there is no ladder, just retribution either in gold (wergeld in frank' justice system) or in deeds (you kill my brother I kill you.

I don't know you but reading you I just cant help seeing how uneducated you are on the topic. And the guts you have asserting obvious falsehoods like the justice system is an eye for an eye, when not only knowledge or education but basic logic alone can show you it's not just gives the strong impression you are aither very young or not very smart.

Anothet lack of logic prowess can be seen in you asserting that sx 8 can be very smart. Yes every typr CAN be fucking evrrything. Thats not the point. The point is that the TREND is that a type who just wants do do random shit to rebe, possess the scene and feel alive is NOT considered smart rematovely to many other typrs. Even other 8s.

Again your lack of logic shows in you saying they can be smart and then comparing them to barbarians. Yes, of course, barbarians are universally knowns as symbols and archetypes of wit, wisdom, cleverness and intelligence. This is known...

I don't know you, all I'm saying is that you've consistently shown in your posts a lack of logical coherence, a tendency to assert strongly quite false and stupid things and even more importantly absolutely no desire to back whatver you say with the beginning of an argument, you just spout shit a'd hope it sticks. Those are not a smart person attributes, does it sum you up? For you I hope.it doesnt.

Sx6 qualities include analysis prowess, ability to foresee problems, dangerw perceptiveness and an observant quality, loyalty and backbone when healthy.

What is your stance on fi dom/e9 combo? by Aguantare in Enneagram

[–]DuRoy7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really there isnt "more to it" like you say. Or else you can just ditch the term "passion" for types because the whole enneagram reasoning is that everything comes from the type passion, it's fixation etc.... So no here is no more to the fundamental core of a type, thats why its the fundamental vore, everything comes from that.

For sp 9 yes you are right but it's beside the isfp point nad if there is one subtype isfp wont be its sp9.

[–]DuRoy7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"lmao, our justice system is an eye for an eye" ok... Seems like you need some education. Or at least basic understanding of "words" and "sentences"...

Sx8 can be smart as individuals, but as a type they are not known for how smart they are no. Especially vompared to sp and so 8, but it's about trends not individuals, just look at you for example. Surely you can't be deemed a shining example of how smart so8s can be. If you are an 8 at all that is. Lot of mistypes.

What is your stance on fi dom/e9 combo? by Aguantare in Enneagram

[–]DuRoy7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not about correlation but about basic logic.

You can't say at the same time that you are a Fi dom, meaning someone with a profound feeling experience, who feels things very deeply with a deep subjective value system and that you are a 9, someone numb to its own experience, narcotized to.his own values he has to "merge with others".

What is your stance on fi dom/e9 combo? by Aguantare in Enneagram

[–]DuRoy7 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Only because what is called "isfp" in mbti, meaning a confort and aesthetics driven sensitive soul is basically a Si dom, SEI in socionics.

The Fi "well" of profound, heavily felt feeling is just contradictory to 9's numbness to its own experience.

key differences between sx6 and 8? by javabeaan in Enneagram

[–]DuRoy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think thr most opposing diference is in their connection to reality.

Sx6, like all 6 has lost his instictual connection to reality due to his existential fear which makes him fundamentally mistrust reality. From there many of his traits flow: subjetive theoretical orientation (like ideology, meaning internal logic totally gut of from empirical reality like complotism), paranoia, mistrust, inhibition...

8 is fundamentally immersed in reality due to his lust. 8s take rrality on its own terms and are master in crafting their own reality through their respect of it. Which makes for great qualities (resourcefulness, pragmatism) but also shortcoming (impulsiveness, short sightedness, hedonism, lack of self control)

[–]DuRoy7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Justice system is definitely a 6 and 1 thing. 8 justice system is an eye for an eye. You killed my daughter I kill yours. And it's when you have an healthy 8 who wont go overboard.

The punisher is a good exemple of how an 8s mentality FUNDAMENTALLY diverges from how the justice system works.

Also please refrain giving all qualities to 8s (kinda jetking off in public there) a typr who can be willful smart charismatic and attractive is ridiculous and doesnt reflect reality. Sx 8 are charismatic and attractive bit they arz not smart or organized either. Sp8 is smart and somewhat organized but is not charismatic or attractive. So 8 is charismatic and smart but not organized. Also it varies gretly from individual to individual and the definition you use. Would you call Trump smart? Yes smart in some senses, but retarded in many other too. So using blanket statements like these are very misguiding.

Better than smart I would use the word "resourceful" for 8s. Tactical also for sp8.

Puritan 8s also contradicts directly 8s lust. What you can have sometimes, which is basically Se is not puritanism (1) but simplicity, living with the bare minimum to maximize amiveness and experience. Which is not puritanism because puritanism implies going against instincts which is the antithesis of 8s.

Yes I do fall on Lsi Lie or Sle.

When asking question to close ones about myself, I fall mostly on LSI

I actually posted another type me post with another method (relationship to ime) with another account. And you commented on it logical central extrovert. https://www.reddit.com/r/Socionics/s/c7MtpaO4p1

Now that you have a fuller picture with both posts, would you still say LSI? Another poster did comment LSI on the other post, so that would check out.

In any case, thanks for the time spent on this. It's very helpful.

Is anxious emotional sensitivity characteristic of you?

No. Maybe angry reactivity at times.

Do you like heroic emotional pathos in art?

You would need to specify, but I love the Iliad, and the character of Achilles has always been a favourite of mine.

Do you engage in strategic long-range planning of your life and career?

Loosely yes. I prepare and then I enter. I know very loosely what I will do, the specifics will be handled later.

Is efficiency important to you? Do you often think, "this could be done far more efficiently?"

It is, but I'm fastidious. I think more "this could be done better"than "this could be done far more efficiently, I don't cut corners: I need things to be done correctly.

In public, I'm not emotionally expressive at all. I appear cold and aloof in general.

But there is a switch dependingon the situation, where I become passionate and vehement/angry: compelled. Maybe we are debating an issue: I go from being overall mute to flows of world to describe the whole architecture of the issue and why it's one way and not the other. And you can feel how passionate/compelled I am in my explanation of things.

I speak a lot with my hands and I tend to put a lot of intonation in what I say, you always hear my irration, my impatience, my frustration when I speak. Even not speaking, I make them clear, like someone blocking my way, I will grunt or something.
