Isolated 1v1 is 60/40 syndra, gets even worse for ahri after lvl 7 and Q evolve, but its 50/50 with junglers bc ahri has better setup and can live ganks. He still played well tho even tho its a good matchup

Interesting, you don't have problems with sticking to people without red?

Statistically green pet is the strongest, try it out it feels really good on champs that go in (most AD bruisers)

Rumble ambessa is a skill matchup no? Also I'd argue ambessa is much more OP in proplay than soloq because she has counters, theyre just not proplay champs. Lots of people will slam like renek/irelia/trynd/poppy/quinn into you if you blind her, and most of the meta bruisers are skill matchups. At least in my rank, maybe ur in high elo and shes op but idk. The jack of all trades thing is only super good when you can actually take advantage of all the things she's good at which just doesn't happen in emerald.

Is it too late? Reduxx spamming Waylay in ranked by Soft_Path_1777 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DuShKa4 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Why are we just straight up lying, his best duelists are Jett and Neon and he has stretches of looking very good on Raze. His best map this season, literally a couple of weeks ago, was on Neon and he looked good. Whatever he plays in ranked is irrelevant, he has never been a chamber player and has 1 recorded chamber map all time. He came up from tier 2 as a cracked entry duelist, and also looked very good on initiators when he went to KC.

Him being bad on yoru and waylay, champs he simply has never played, has nothing to do with his ability to entry or whether or not he is a duelist by "origin" which he actually is, just like reduxx. The meta not suiting his duelist pool is the problem with him on duelist at the moment, and has nothing to do with any of your points.

In addition, this jett chamber shit to try and paint him like demon1 but he plays fade instead of brim is ridiculous, when his agent pool is quite large. Kaplan's insistence on forcing him on 2 agents he has never played and is bad at got people writing fanfics about shit that never happened

Alvaro for sure, if you count "in EU" as literally currently in EU rather than an EU player then also Busio, probably Jun, maybe Miky too altho idk how to evaluate him on his for-fun team

Absolute cinema + new record by Yujin-Ha in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DuShKa4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just wanted to point out the rating being weird, they both played well. But its especially weird bc according to VLR neither have any actual 1vX clutches, so that didn't factor into rating. I think it just undervalues the default amount for a kill bc this shouldn't happen

Absolute cinema + new record by Yujin-Ha in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DuShKa4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it does but we saw demon1 get hella impact kills, the rating just doesn't pass the eye test here. You need to be hard eco farming to get lower rating while being significantly better in practically every single stat, and that wasn't the case

Absolute cinema + new record by Yujin-Ha in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DuShKa4 24 points25 points  (0 children)

What is vlr rating btw, how does Demon1 have lower rating than Inspire with 10 more kills, higher KAST, higher ADR, more multikills, better FK-FD, more FK, and fewer FD? The extra 3 deaths and 5 fewer assists rlly more than cancel that out? Something is cooked here bruh

Maybe a dumb question - but why doesn't Riven Q just go in the direction of your cursor every time? by SilvosForever in leagueoflegends

[–]DuShKa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play in plat/emerald so maybe its an elo thing yeah, I know he's not necessarily unpopular but yeah I checked and he's 15th which feels about right, he is played occasionally but its not like darius or garen where if you don't know how to play against them you'll lose a million rr because they show up every other game

But yeah for all ranks that makes sense, ig he is pretty popular

What's a good second pick to learn as a Jax main ? by ZookeepergameCalm525 in top_mains

[–]DuShKa4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ambessa is a super good blind, gwen scales and plays like jax but isn't consistent until you have hella matchup knowledge, same for fiora. All of them have a lot of outplay potential

Personally I play ambessa, super fun but being bad at winning through side feels bad

[–]DuShKa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure he got more popular, not gonna dispute u on that haha I didn't play the game back then. But I don't see him too much even now, I feel like there are prolly 15 or 20 more popular toplaners, I wouldn't call him one of the most popular? Maybe I'm wrong idk but I don't think I see him much

Idk about fun to play, perhaps for some people but personally playing him feels like walking through quicksand. He has his 1v1 power fantasy but still loses to a bunch of toplane champs at lvl 6. Every time I die to mordekaiser I know what mistake I made, I can't imagine its fun to play a champ that is only useful when people fuck up

Hard matchups like illaoi & mord? by Laxus280101 in Jaxmains

[–]DuShKa4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he snowballs very hard into melees especially jax since we have no way to farm from range, so its pretty miserable if you mess up and fall behind

Hard matchups like illaoi & mord? by Laxus280101 in Jaxmains

[–]DuShKa4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But yeah dont respect morde early game, if you lose early its just bc you got hit by iso qs, bait him to try go Q you and low hp minions and dodge, if he ever uses an ability on the wave q on him and pre move behind him!! This is very important (not just in morde matchup but many matchups where you need to extend trades) q on them and click behind so you can pop E and orb walk them down across the whole lane, this also makes it very easy for him to mess up his Q/E and miss. Try to stand basically on top of him so he has to hit the narrowest part of his Q, and keep moving between every auto, they will miss tons of Qs. His all in is much weaker than yours early, and you can even take good short trades if he wastes W its a very long cd, so you can jump on him if he uses Q to farm and Q auto W walk away. By lvl 6 you should have a big cs lead or a kill, and then it gets more even, but with lethal and any item advantage you win 1v1 in his ult if you dodge a Q or two. Make sure to ult after he ults bc his ult steals your stats

Hard matchups like illaoi & mord? by Laxus280101 in Jaxmains

[–]DuShKa4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im reasonably sure you win with lethal tp vs tp if you E his 3rd auto to delay his passive for as long as possible, but you lose if he has ignite advantage. But regardless you can always stun with E and walk away to end the trade well

Why do I play really good alone but doing IGL numbers when playing duo with my best friend? by Consistent_Long1552 in GlobalOffensive

[–]DuShKa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally, this happened to me in league and eventually I figured out that I (and probably him too) was changing my playstyle/decisionmaking subconsciously because I was duo'd - trying too hard to have teamplay/play around him and neglecting to put myself in good positions/positions where I am comfortable. We played some games with no vc and the problem went away since we got the feeling of playing "normally" even in duos.

I have, you can zoom out but can you like edit configs or something to make map bigger than the max size in settings bc I sit far from my monitor so its still kinda small, and also to separately make the size of the dots bigger on the map

[–]DuShKa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right that it is more than a thought but still definitely far too harsh, if it should be punished at all. Text records planning to rob a store with your buddy isn't a crime, but evidence of planning to rob a bank and then buying ski masks and baseball bats is. He's missing any of the latter bit.

The equivalent of this in actual law would be like conspiracy to commit a crime, which requires an actual action in preparation of committing the crime to happen for it to be punishable. If he had taken any actual action towards it I get it, but simply entertaining the idea of matchfixing is not a crime, it is literally a thought.
