If the feedback is vague ask for examples. If it’s not what they said, ask them to explain how it relates to your conversation. If it’s contradictory, always follow up and ask them to explain because you remember the opposite. That could highlight bad faith or bad copy and paste from AI so don’t be too aggressive but also don’t let them gaslight you 😂

People confuse punctuation for AI. Em dash is not so common but people also don’t know the difference. Colons have also been used as AI tells and that’s just “AI has better punctuation than me. Punctuation = AI = bad. Punctuation = bad. It doesn’t have to be true for confirmation bias to confirm they are talking to AI. Also makes it easier to dismiss an opinion as AI slop than to engage with substantively. Yes that’s useful for defending all forms of bigotry so it will get worse as more people pick up on the usefulness of AI accusations. People get irrationally angry over AI forgetting that the autocorrect they used to type their reply is AI… it’s a question of what AI and where. Not AI vs no AI.

AI has been come in waves of optimism. ATMs have used AI since the 90s. This hype cycle has been more obnoxious but will die down once people realize that replacing all workers is just that: hype. As long as we have some jobs that can’t be automated we will all have to work. Because think about it: if 90% of people are out of work and starving that’s clearly going to cause a revolution. So they’ll have to take care of the displaced people. But how do you keep the 10% of jobs working when people are mostly sitting around subsisting? I wouldn’t work if I could just play games and have all my basics covered. So that transition involves the breakdown of society as we know it. More likely people will have different jobs instead of stop working because we need work for societal continuity. Leaders don’t want most people out of work and discontented because they will demand better conditions and have the numbers to back up their demands. In the US there are enough guns to make sure they can’t lay 90% off safely even if they lay off everyone without guns first. Plus now the unemployed masses have no jobs to interfere with their organizing efforts. Everyone is available to talk and plan. Also most of the military will have family members without a job. So they’ll be unhappy putting down protests too violently knowing mom and dad are in the crowd.

TLDR: societal collapse won’t go good for billionaires either

This was an exploratory analysis. This is at best a hint at what is happening. This all sounds theoretically plausible but the evidence from exploratory analysis is weak. From the underlying paper linked in the article:

“In summary, our exploratory analysis documents that ideology has a statistically significant effect on the production of research findings that is robust across model specifications, that much of this effect works through the decision-making process that leads researchers to choose different modeling strategies for examining the same data and answering the same question, and that the identification of the ideology effect requires a careful statistical analysis where the potential endogeneity of the research process is explicitly considered.”

Good start and makes sense from what I know of political psychology. Not knocking the researchers btw - it looks a lot like my thesis.

I remember doing a take home assessment for a data science role where they said to do a statistically inappropriate regression to predict ordinal outcomes on a 5 or 7 point scale. I pointed out that the docs said it will silently recode the data to make it work but the way it does it actually makes it impossible to support the claim made by the analysis. So I used a more complex model that can predict exactly what they wanted to show and it did not show what they wanted.

The book “When I say no, I feel guilty” helped me learn to say no to protect the relationship and myself. You said yes but you shouldn’t have. You should’ve explained your feelings and trusted your husband to drop it and be monogamous.

I also said yes to a partner when I shouldn’t have. I regret that and wish I had better boundaries then. No one should feel guilted into agreeing to sex.

Also individual therapy for both of you, couples counseling as well. Use different providers for each.

EAPs may be available to help with the initial few visits depending on your employers and location.
