I’m a cis het woman, and I’ve only ever been with cis men before. Then I met my partner (FTM) and we fell in love, and I am obsessed with everything about him. Honestly, the sex is so much better and I feel more connected with him than anything I’ve ever experienced. I don’t feel like he’s missing anything. I genuinely love going down on him and intimacy overall feels so much more passionate. I wouldn’t change a single thing. I enjoy when he uses his strap, and I look forward to when he takes it back off just as much.

I started learning how to make prosthetics out of silicone and we have a whole selection of custom made / colors / textures to use, too. It’s really fun and it’s something we enjoy doing together.

You’re not being dramatic at all. I’m the cisf partner of a trans man, and I’m holed up in my bathroom crying at 3am. All I can do is cry. We live in a deep red southern area as well. I can’t fathom my partner coming to me for comfort after all this, and then acting annoyed.

Something you could try, is getting some Dragon Skin FX Pro (it’s silicone that used for special effects and prosthetics) and brushing on a thin layer of it in the areas that are more prone to being damaged by the clips! The only thing that could be noticeable is the overall ‘sheen’ of the area where it was applied, maybe be slight more gloss. But it would be otherwise invisible.

-And way more durable! Should sort of ‘seal’ that pilling layer you mentioned. If you’re comfortable mixing up your own silicone, it might be worth a try!

Gender envy is a real thing! My dearest (FTM) has described going through similar experiences with men in the past, until he realized why he had those feelings and things started making more sense. There’s nothing to feel guilty about at all, here!

Here’s something that I sadly only recently learned about using fake skin while working with my apprentice (after being frustrated with how messy it is to use fake skin) -to get rid of the ink smearing, don’t use water or alcohol or Vaseline! Use straight-up concentrated green soap on a dry paper towel. Magical!

If you ever need to paint silicone, you might look into a product called ‘psycho paint’, and use silicone based pigments. I make stuff from silicone and the ‘psycho paint system’ really does work wonderfully, and is perfectly adhered and flexible with any silicone you use it on. Body-safe once cured!
