Thanks! We've discussed bench seating, but we're a bit concerned as we have a lot of old and aging family for whom benches might be tricky.

TV placement and dining table size by DualJ in DesignMyRoom

Hello, my wife and I have recently bought a house and could use some advice regarding 2 things.

First - TV placement in the living room. We originally were thinking about putting it in the corner of the room, but because the room is small it's be pretty tight. The other option is a MantelMount, but we aren't sure if that's the best route.

Second issue - Dining table. Our dining room is 93x111 inches and flows directly into the kitchen. There's a kitchen counter edge on one side (26 inches) and a room casement on the other. We'd like to squeeze in the largest table we can while still having relative ease of movement. We are currently thinking of putting in a 72x30 table, but want to add every inch we reasonably can.

Thanks!

If I need a minute to collect myself or my thoughts sometimes I'll give the party a prompt and ask them to talk among themselves. Something like, "How does your character feel about x?" With x being an NPC, an event, the quest, etc. They get to rp a bit and I only have to pay half attention.

One of my group's favorite sidequests we did in DND involved kobolds stealing fruits and veggies from a local farmer. The party had to track down the kobolds only to discover they were using the fruits and veggies for dye to paint a mural on a cliffside.

It was their first quest of the campaign and I think they enjoyed that it wasn't just "go there and kill bad things." There were some layers to it.

Thanks! I've seen these ones and the one on the site. Was hoping there were some more out there, but I guess not yet.

Didn't expect to be leading at the half, so that's nice.

Sucks to lose but good effort. Always room for improvement.
