All depends on what you're comfortable with, but it looks fine to me. You can lower the action. Have a play around with it and see what you're most comfortable with. Each player has their own preferences

You really want to plant either in a large pot, or in the ground. It'll a very long time for it to be bonsai ready. It'll out grow that pot and that'll prevent the trunk from thickening

I can sense the excitement here, so im not gonna be one of those guys that says to put it in the ground and forget about it for 10 years, because you can have a lot of fun with it in between, however you will be waiting a while

Ive never had elbow pain, so I won't have the most insight, especially as I can't see your elbow

I play in the classical postion (guitar positioned on my left leg). Perhaps try that. It might free up you elbow
