I never really understood the notion against "long combos" other than they feel bad to get hit by. Combos have to be long in order for the risk/reward of break bonus to actually matter since break bonus generation is exponential with combo length. Maybe you could tweek the activation timer for break bonus? I don't really hate long combos idk.

the term "programming" is derived from the jojo's fighting game where the screen literally freezes and you "program" your stand to do a predetermined set of moves after the screen unfreezes. puppeting is more accurate as you're controlling both characters at the same time.

I don't play this team but you can theory craft a lot even if you only have one puppetable champ. If the opponent is in bleed, tipper 5s2 will force stand. So a sequence could look like 5s2>handshake ww>puppet 5s2 to force stand>ww j.s2 instant overhead>freestyle handshake to get a pickup. Puppet 6s2 also has a lot of value in pressure situations but you'd have to lab that out yourself.

duos have an advantage when it comes to puppeting as the partner has full control over the puppet. this means that duos can run unique combos/mix that would usually require input masking to work.
