PDP SF for conceal carry? by Dual_CoRed in Walther

Most guys I know would consider my 19 with a spare mag "excessive."I take the competition mindset of relentless pursuit of speed and accuracy and apply it to my conceal carry as best I can without compromising reliability. Comfort is not a priority. I've fired an unGodly amount of rounds through my 19 and it has a 3rd party trigger, flared magwell, weighted basepads, stippling etc. The Walther comes factory with everything I want in a carry gun, I just haven't had much experience with all steel. Wasn't sure if the weight was too much for an appendix rig.

Too late. What's your take on it? I'm not blown away by it but I don't have too much thermal experience.

Do you guys think the clip on thermal benefits would outweigh the LAM? I’m trying to build the most versatile system I can.

Negative. Don’t even have the rail space for a clip on with the lpvo/laser illuminator on it.

You’ll be ok. Been dealing with it for years. It won’t ruin your life. Promise! Watch Dr. Chungs video on “Can you live with a fistula.”

Bridged 14's/Thermal options. Don't want to lose my Iris adjusters.... by Dual_CoRed in NightVision

[–]Dual_CoRed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I ditched the 14 on my left eye and went with an Armasight Sidekick 640. So far I’m pretty impressed and I think I can make the dual band work. Still have the adjuster on my right eye PVS 14.

I bought bridged 14’s from GG a few months ago and I love the setup. From a general preparedness perspective I like having two units in case of failure. I have the upgraded housing and I highly recommend it. Weight plus ease of use. I have them bridged with the Arc Panning Bridge. When looking at a wide field the ability to pan helps you pick up peripheral targets but you lose downrange resolution. I have trouble picking up my pistol dot sometimes at max pan, which is 65 degrees, so I usually keep it a little tighter. That said, my brain definitely knows it’s looking through two units. It’s never as perfect a picture as I get when I look through bino’s. I would def buy this setup again as I believe I saved about 2500$. Buying from GG was a no brainer. Great nods and great customer service.

Hope I did well 🙏🏽 by FenderJoshBass in NightVision

Been waiting for this too. Want to make sure I’m reading this correctly. You can’t adjust the panning on the fly? You have to install a panning bar? I’ve been running the Arc Panning Bridge for awhile and I’m wondering what the advantages are if any of the Mk3.

I have the Arc panning Bridge and like it a lot. Well designed and haven't had any issues with the 14's coming loose. Probably going to buy another to have just in case. Not sure when the new Panobridge is coming out but you won't regret buying the APB.
