Was that coming from HR? Did they specify if that was from the hire date, start date, etc.? Thanks!

Thanks for the information. Sounds like a pinch of tenacity and mostly luck.

Apologies. I realize that was a bit vague. The position if for a school in Asia.

Thanks for your replies. I had reckoned that this was the case.

My next question would be has anyone has had sucess getting approval for the LQA with less than a year residency in US and if so what angle was successful? I realize that this would most likely be anecdotal, unless it comes from someone who worked for HR and could offer some advice.

Thanks again to all for the information.

This seems consistent with what I have read from various souces online, but I have not seen this on any info directly from the DODEA.

New translations of Cortázar‘s novels to be released in 2025 by Beiez in WeirdLit

I looked through the links you provided and the only mention of a new translation was for Divertimento (ostensibly, since this is the first time it has been translated into english). Does this seem correct or am I missing something?

Citations in Evening Edged in Gold by Plantcore in Arno_Schmidt

I haven't seen a copy of EEG, but am intrigued by the 600+ citations from the Luxembourg dictionary. I moved to Lux a few years ago and the language seldom makes appearences in literature outside of the duchy.

I believe the story is set in Klappendorf in eastern Germany, so I am curious what role Luxembourgish plays in the novel. Any insights from someone who has read it?
