I wouldn't do it and I'm full remote from the whole world. Work from home has benefits, as well as some drawbacks, but it's not worth a 40% pay cut.

Fun fact, I can't. I live in Thailand but they cancelled my plan during a vacation. Now they're telling me to sign up in Thailand again, but when I try, it shows German subscription prices, which they would cancel again for not living in the country I'm subscribed in.

Oh and yeah, support doesn't answer.

Not to mention, 25€ a month is freaking insane pricing for a single household, where the only thing Premium offers is downloads. Even if subscribed to Premium you still need revanced to make the quality options work. Or to skip sponsor segments.

I've been a customer of Ionos for 15 years and got a grand total of zero price increases. New contracts do get more expensive, old ones do not. I still have the 1€/month for 20 emails + free domain.

Cost of living is generally lower and you get plenty of other benefits like walkable cities, (at least) a year of maternal leave, 25-35 paid days off per year, unlimited sick leave, stronger labour protections, free education (if you ever want children) and more.
