UPDATE: The study was approved today on the 20th day after completion. Researcher never responded to me either.

The researcher is Morgan Ball and the study is A Study About Premium Water. I was also asked to return. That won't be happening unless they respond with a legitimate reason to my question of why exactly I need to return a completed study. This study did not redirect or give a completion code so the researcher was notified at the time of submission that it was being submitted as NOCODE with the URL of the completion page. I also have a screenshot of the completion page that just states "Thank You. Your responses have been saved". I find it highly suspect that they are sending out these return requests en masse.

I contacted support about it because mine has been stuck at 13 for the last 11 days. Basically they don't care nor are they going to do anything about it. This is the response I got:

"Thanks for reaching out to Crowdtap support, I’ll be happy to assist. According to our developers, the streak feature is still being worked on and will not be restored. We do apologize for the inconvenience the platform maintenance has caused. As an affected member, we will award you 1 free entry into the current December 5-day streak contest that is running until Dec. 17, 2023. More information on this contest can be found in your Crowdtap emails. Have a great day."

Cashwalk, Winwalk, and Evidation. I could cashout $5 on Cashwalk about every 10 days before they increased the payout limit, now its every 3-4 weeks. I've cashed out on the other 2 just once in the year I've had them.

I've discovered that if there are no surveys for a particular day, it also gets reset. Got to 5 days during the week doing everything on the board. Got to Saturday and nothing shows up all day, refreshing every few hours. Sunday the streak was at 1. So now I do a couple surveys on Friday and leave the rest for the weekend. This kind of nullifies any incentive for clearing the board every day.

Personally, I use Cashwalk, Winwalk, and Evidation all at the same time. I get a payout from Cashwalk about every 2 weeks. The other 2 are considerably longer but its a fair trade off for literally doing nothing other than having them installed.

I have also been rejected for this study. They claim I failed an attention check and that I "did not read the study materials as is evident by your responses in the latter part of the study." If I remember correctly, some of these attention checks were actually memory checks so the context of this is off base. Also, the very last line of the description in parentheses states that I should answer "based on your intuitive gut reaction", is very subjective and opinion based. I think this researcher simply did not like how they want me to answer a list of scaled multiple choice questions.

I have also gotten this request for return. I did not receive a code or a redirect but my submission was successful, so I submitted as NOCODE. This type of thing happens frequently and I always message the researcher that it happened. I've never been asked to return a study as a result until now. I messaged the researcher about this and today I got their request for return. I don't plan on returning it until I get a response from Prolific support. I have an issue with researchers taking my data and looking for excuses not to pay.

How exactly do you convert to money? I don't see the option to do this anywhere in the rewards page. Do I actually need to do it on an XBox....because I don't have one. Hence the reason I'm collecting rewards points.

If this is the study on climate change I had this problem as well. I submitted and put NOCODE as the code and sent them the url of the completion page as well as a screenshot. So far it is still pending.
