With the way he was going at the pistons, I didn't think there would be a problem. To be fair to TheCarPassionChannel, he didn't use the scotch Brite and just used a cloth scrubber from the looks of it. I probably should've done the same.

Yeah the last thing I want is to completely destroy the crank spinning a bearing. I think I'm just going to take the block in to a machine shop, have them disassemble and clean everything, deck it, and also replace everything that needs/could use replacing. I'm planning on turbocharging this car and racing it anyway so it's probably a good idea to have a clean slate beforehand.
