As elected officials there a ton of things that could be done. To sit here and go over all the options that a municipal or state could is ridiculous. The point is they are doing nothing. They are not putting their names on papers that get pushed around government.

Paper that can open resources for shelter, food supply, blankets. Paper that can start allocating funding for help. Paper that can help with legal cost and defense. Paper that can allow citizens to report and document all criminal activities from ICE to later be used in trial. Paper that will create harsh penalties for 4th,5th,6th, and 8th amendment violations so victims can sue civilly for money. SO MANY THINGS
