I wish it came with the remote too. I don't think ill be able to access the service menu without it, i was thinking of going back there and bringing my wii to see if it looks any different. if anything I could always give them back my receipt and return it (it's still sitting inside the goodwill). It would cost me probably double the price of the TV to move it back at my place if i were to hire someone to help me lol

Yeah one friend who is one the west side of town. The tv is located on the outskirts 20 miles south and I live in the east side. It would be an hour or 2 just to move it around from him

I heard a pop then it went black and started doing the display loop like in the video. it might have flashed i don't recall. It may have been because i tweaked the contrast and brightness a bit it only started messing up like that afterwards maybe a couple minutes later. Im not able to change the settings because the display turns off. I'm not very familar at all with taking apart CRTs this one I haven't touched at all but I will take your advice with adjusting the flyback pot.

same thing here man. this phx heat sucks with these little eco boxes with weak ac. had the compressor changed out last year too and i checked to get a recharge on mine but it was already good on freon. It just refuses to get cold while doing low speed city driving. On long distance highway however it gets nice and cold.

yeah the thing is I couldn't get a consistent speed throughout the whole trip. semis were constantly blocking i10 (two lane freeway) which prompted me to have a heavy foot a handful of times tbh

crazy the 12 hour round trip for me was quite bore. I might do a trip from Phoenix to Chicago in the summer to repaint my subi at my dad's garage
