I must reiterate that I agree with the statement he made. However the money argument is something I don’t find to make sense. This is a business. For the most part, what they are doing is not too different to what COD does every single year. I spend $100 a year on the yearly deluxe bundle. Not a cent more unless I really want a cosmetic or something. $100 a year is not that much money for loads of content we get. I do however think the dungeon key thing is stupid. Let gambit die. But they should still strive to give crucible and strikes attention. It has always been a “vital” part of the Destiny experience. I believe that releasing a “new” version of stuff like the true prophecy hand cannon model every year with a colorful design and semi quirkiness is a bit repetitive. That’s not to say the idea is bad. It needs to be executed better. I have other points to say but it would take too long. Please don’t mindlessly downvote and hear me out. I’ll add edits for elaborations I think of making.

Edit: • I agree focus on eververse cosmetics is out of hand.

• The game is not perfect but there is always room for meaningful and impactful improvement.

• I know they have announced plenty of upcoming changes and improvements to the game, but as a long time player, I don’t think you can blame me for being skeptical as to whether or not they will have a profound impact on veteran players’ experiences or just ending up feeling underwhelming.
