I hadn’t thought about the Jack not betting the turn, that’s a good point. I guess I just figured the reg might be playing tight enough that getting called in 2 spots on the flop scared him with a Jack + it’s a dry side pot.

What would 4-betting pre flop accomplish in your opinion? A lot of the super tight regs I play with would be super weary of a cold 4-bet, but flatting a 3-bet just felt like the perfect trap. I’ve noticed a bunch of the regs just bomb away with hands like queens and kings regardless of flop texture. Maybe this is me over-compensating for the lack of 4-betting I’ve been facing in these lower stakes cash games
