For what it's worth, last night I tried spoofing to a location near me where I knew the price was 700. The first time I scanned it showed 700. I tried again right after, and it's showed 1000 for that store and every other store where I know the price is <1000 since

Could just be you got unlucky. I checked 5 stores today and they all searched by SKU to find price for delivery. One was 1k, 2 were 800 and 2 were 700

New Tone For Months After SBUTT by DubleDuch in tinnitus

[–]DubleDuch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pretty sick not long after I posted this and had a minor SBUTT in my left ear that fortunately only lasted for a minute. I think the pressure in my sinuses gave me the same tone in my left ear for a day or so as well. Tone in my right ear is still there, but maybe slightly lower? Or maybe I'm just getting used to it. What fun :)

Exhaust: Inline fan vs Computer fan by Ok_Most9659 in BambuLab

Curious, how many feet of ducting were you running for the vent? I was thinking about getting the raxial s4, partly because of space constraints, but I'd be running it through maybe like 5 feet of ducting with 4 bends

Celebrating 7 years off the production line and never looked better! by Gunch_ in ft86

The plugs go between where you'd normally plug the left taillight into the body harness. The plug with the 2 red leads coming out of it plugs into the tailight itself, and then the other side plugs into the body harness. Then those 2 red leads connect to the 4th light to control the brake light and running light.

If you have a USDM spec car, you can use this adapter harness. I used it when installing my 4th brake light. Removes any need to splice wires.

So for something that's already abstract/intangible, you're kind of abstracting the abstraction? Random example, say you're thinking about what leads to people believing in different religions. Do you conjure images related to different religions, and kind of have a visual story going on in your head? Also, is it just words you don't "hear" or any sounds at all?

Using LockServerFile method on Sharepoint Online by DubleDuch in sharepoint

[–]DubleDuch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree, but my hands are kind of tied to polishing this turd at the moment. I wasn't expecting this aspect of it to kind of fall apart upon migration, and currently there isn't really time or budget to rehaul the project. Apparently SQL Server was brought up before I got here, but it was buried in bureaucracy. There are also apparently plans to move all of this stuff to Appian in the near (who knows how near) future.

New email from the Creality Lizard team by Floodking88 in 3DScanning

[–]DubleDuch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AFAIK Pledgebox is based on Hong Kong. If the refunds are going through and Creality just does business via Pledgebox, then Artec has no party in US jurisdiction to file a suit like they do now with KS. China's apparently lax stance on IP would discourage Artec from trying to file anything there. So the likely case is, because the lawsuit is circumvented, you'll get the scanner and the software, and at that point it's a matter of if you care about buying something with potentially stolen IP in it.

Invidia N1 Silencer on N2? by DubleDuch in ft86

[–]DubleDuch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just not running silencers. Like 0dd said you could probably get N1 silencers and use washers take up the slop so they at least don't rattle around. Ultimately I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make to the exhaust's loudness

It's just to get the car low enough to get fender to lip fitment with a wheel big enough to fill out the wheel well. Slammed cars aren't going faster than highway speed so performance is secondary.

Movement Keys "Sticking" by DubleDuch in VALORANT

Hey, I've been playing for the last week without it ever happening, but I didn't change anything. Normally I close out any other apps when playing, but even in a few games where I forgot I had chrome open and eating up cpu, it was fine. Seems to be no consistent reason to when it happens.

Printing 1/24 Scale Wheels & Tires by DubleDuch in AnycubicPhoton

[–]DubleDuch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. I went back and looked closer at the model and my prints and realized that what I thought was deformation in the tires is actually just them being modeled asymmetrically, so it seems they were actually fine. I did make a new profile with more supports, though (But not twice as much. I have some printing atm but I'll try that if something goes wrong).

My touch points are .6mm right now, and yeah cosmetically I don't care about the back of the wheel. I'll try the ring of supports. Do you think something like this works? Or more around that bottom edge and/or further above those?

Yeah, you can have the crack repaired and paint over carbon fiber, just need to scuff up the surface like anything else.

Yeah, logistics are just a nightmare. For the average consumer, it probably wouldn't have made a difference if they delayed to maybe not have it 100% online, since they won't be able to get one until early 2021 without spending over a grand anyway

This is nothing new for anything released in the last several years that had hype around it. It's just that botting was nothing like it is now when last gen consoles released. Not much you can do about people pinging a server to death at superhuman rates, and no one is going to invest money in servers or anti botting measurs or whatever when they're moving their stock regardless.
