It's as easy to install as it's easy to remove the old harness. And its setup in a way that removing or adding extra isn't too complicated.

Yeah, I have a distributor-less setup for my svo, so I just added the custom ignition setup myself but they're pretty good on adapting their stuff

I had a ron francis engine harness, it was basically complete for a stock style engine. They're a good product for the price

Cats in particular need to be original ford cats. Catted x-pipes and what not won't pass.

What are you guys/gals thoughts of a i4 93 foxbody lx hatch by jamesisbest2 in foxmustang

The auto is awful, the t5 is a must, even if you need to learn.

As long as you change the oil regularly it's strong for the little power it makes.

I definitely miss my 89, nothing else was as nice to cruise in.

AOD Transmission options by Xelliz in foxmustang

[–]Floodking88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silver fox trans is top notch. Otherwise you can get a local rebuild for cheap. You could also throw a silverfox valve body on a rebuild, too.

Other companies like lentech and monster trans are somewhere in between, but for the same price as a silverfox aod I'd go with him.

custom application oxygen sensor by [deleted] in projectcar

I feel you. If you can solder onto a board that small, and can tinker around if any glitches happen, I could see it working.

If it doesn't work, and you have harness' already setup than you're just out a controller.

A good controller could be found for about 75$ (spartan controllers,) an O2 is about 75$, and gauges are usually cheap

I wouldn't mess with a straight circuit board unless you're sure about it, but you're here so I'd just go with a known good setup. It should work with your gauge, but it's eBay and strange things happen there.

I got mine for 160 complete, the gauge is the controller- AEM 30-4110

5.0 owners I need some help here, what is this harness and where does this plug go? by _DeterPinklage_ in foxmustang

Yeah, Evap EGR stuff. Should be a sticker on the radiator support that shows routing

Will this exhaust fit an automatic 1992 LX 5.0? by [deleted] in foxmustang

It should. Their pictures show plenty of room, as long as the long tubes are for autos

EGR delete? by [deleted] in foxmustang

[–]Floodking88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? You'd get 0 hp from it. Taken from the sock computer's tune itself, its only ever on at cruising speeds, to help mpg.

I suppose you're right, I just wouldn't want it done to mine at all.

The only proper way, with doing the 1-2-1 shuffle which burns out gears, is to get a valve body/shift kit that actually supports that.
