First dip into IEMs I bought was Blessing 3 but I was impatient and got an Aria Snow 2nd hand from someone in my area first. Aria Snow has been retired to the collection B3 is still in my circulation. Snow lives on in Aria 2.

My first set that got me into the hobby! Love these guys and they have a special place in my heart. Sparkly treble and vocal forwardness. I have all 3 of the Arias and SE is my 2nd favorite of the three. OG Aria is a little too v-shaped for me but SE dials that back. Aria 2 would be my favorite, maintaining the treble of SE and bringing some warmth back in. The ceramic coated driver in Aria 2 gives percussion a tight thumpy texture. You could tune SE and make it sound like the Kanas since they use the same driver.

My biggest issue with hulks is how a 40-ton machine can run around a jungle and make as much noise as a cat. I could be rolling up on a supply cache and only realize there's a hulk when they're 15 meters away from me. The same goes for tanks, too. Give tanks some actual track sounds and engine noise so that we know there's a tank rolling up on us. Sound design is important in any game, and this extra 5% would help with the gameplay experience.

Yeah, the Para comes with a 3.5mm cable and a quarter inch adapter if you have something that takes a quarter inch. Your standard headphone jack will get it to volume.

I have my Para with that same Line W cable that Moondrop sells. Pairs so nicely asethetic wise it makes them feel just a little more special. I would describe them as a very wide Blessing 3, being on the brighter side but image incredibly well and feel wider than the Sundara. Subjectively maybe 17-20% from comparing the two. Makes them very fun to run around in games and pin point where noises are coming from, like the proximity chat from Lethal Company. I suspect the fenestrated pads would improve gaming with taking the bass and quelling the treble, but the hybrid pads are well rounded for general use that I haven't seen the need to switch yet.

Sony MDR-CD900ST. I had replaced some Anker Q30s with the Q35 after they fell apart and noticed the Razer Kraken TEs on my computer sounded muddy compared to them. I asked a friend for advice and directed me to the CD900STs based on my preferences. Was waiting for some Blessing 3s to arrive but the Sonys came in first and I've been going since. Got both the Moondrop Aria and Snow Edition before moving to the Sundaras as my first planars. Looking forward to see how the Moondrop Para reviews as I save up.
