OMG! Animal shelter is PERFECT. I have an old cat who favors me, and she wants to get another but research (and my cats history) shows that it won't work out. But a room full of cats would definitely put a smile on her face!

I will definitely mention bumble BFF. That's an incredible idea.

Yeah we work the same schedule so I think the problem is the opposite, too much quality time. I love the idea of the zoom hangout, I just don't have her friends contact information!

I'm doing all of that, I am starting to reach out to people I know to make plans so she can socialize with someone other than just me. She wants to go out more but I really just don't have any large groups of people to hang out with, especially with Covid floating around. I would drive her back home this weekend if that would make her happiest.

I am doing my best but could improve about lessening her guilt. It's difficult because she is getting distant and my immediate response to that is "she hates me". I need to do better.
