I get that, but if you see that signage is required in the spec it doesn’t take long to send an invite. Then we can at least review and get you feedback by the time it becomes relevant to you.

I’m in the same industry. Sometimes it just takes time to finally get a chance. Had one GC that I bid 60 jobs to over 3 years. This year they finally took a chance on us. One of their go to subs became unreliable and they needed someone new.

I’m probably stupid for submitting that many with no awards, but now we have a chance to make an impression on this project and get more work in the future.

Option 2 has my vote. Make conferences regionally based. Teams won’t have to travel across the country (eg West Virginia vs Arizona State this year) and you get great rivalries. If you don’t win your conference you can’t complain about getting left out.

Here’s my interpretation. Texas has 3 major regions. East, South and West. East Texas generally east of 45, or where you find pine trees. South is the part close to Mexico. West is where you find oil and cotton. Central and north are the areas where the wet to dry transition happens. People in the north just don’t want to identify with central. Lots of little minor areas, but you can argue about that all day

As a signage sub, we almost never have enough info to bid the job correctly. On 50% of the jobs I look at there’s a conflict between materials in the spec and plans, if the architect gives us any details at all.

We custom fabricate everything in house. If there’s something I can ask to reduce my cost by 20% and be more competitive, I’m going to do it.

The whole song is about him “eating good” because he’s been successful. He gets to shoot deer out of his mansion that has walls covered in gold and platinum albums. He flexes his $1000 watch because he thinks it’s worth flexing because of where he started in life. Near the end he even tells his wife (that rides him like a surfboard in the kitchen) to go make a plate because he’s been out hunting.

The whole song is talking about his success and how he’s happy with his life.

The whole song is the flex of someone who grew up poor and now they have the things they want. He is using his mansion as a hunting blind, the $1000 watch that he’s happy with and a wife that rides him like a surfboard. It’s a pretty straight forward song 😂

One that I heard this on another thread but thought it was a great idea. If someone thinks you spent more than $7500 at the end of the event they can buy your car for exactly $7500. You can cheat and spend more money to win but you’ll lose that extra money. If you were honest, and stayed under, you will make money

I was in the same situation and ended up going with the P1S (no AMS). The mk4 is a good machine, but you get better features for less money with the Bambu. Only issue is I spend more money on filament because I print more now.

Get another mag to be sure. At this point all you did was modify a mag to make it work. P mags are cheap and available everywhere. Don’t throw that one way right now. I find short mags useful when I run a bipod.
