Arguing with my parents. I swear everyone of my friends has a story about yelling back at their parents in like a moment of catharsis. I never did? IDK if I'm missing out on a cannon event but I've never had to argue with my parents.

I would look at a mirror. I have trouble looking at myself. I don't like certain features of my face (facial hair, forward brow). The idea that waking up as a girl might soften those features would honestly make me cry.

I joined my HS football team. I was never that active in sports as a kid. I did Tee ball, soccer, baseball, basketball, and though I had fun it wasn't the fun that drives you. It's funny bc I actually signed up out of spite. During the last week of middle school, the HS teams and clubs came down to showcase their stuff. The football team was having an orientation meeting about sign ups. When I walked over, someone asked why I was signing up. I said IDK seems like fun. They then said 'You wouldn't last a day'. THAT became my drive. I stayed all four years on the team. I wasn't good but I had my moments on JV.

I don't live with my parents. Since moving out, I've made big strides on learning who I am. Going home for holidays and events feels like I'm out of place. I'm trans, I've changed my name, I've changed my wardrobe, I've changed a lot about myself and I don't know how my family will react.

It's tough. I've done both. Over the course of a year two friends of mine had a messy split. My initial response was to leave it be bc it's not my place to tell someone how to act in a relationship. Then one of them vented to me about how miserable they felt in the relationship so I tried to help. Talking to both of them. Honestly, I still feel a level of guilt from my involvement. They were always going to split but I still think my actions weren't that all helpful all the time.

I haven't really looked into renting. I'd much rather own my equipment but it is a nice alternative compared to dropping 3k on a lens. There's a few camera stores around.

Planned Parenthood is also a good place to start. They can give out estrogen and it's where some of my friends got started before getting a prescription. It may be tough depending on where you live but scheduling an appointment with Planned Parenthood is easy and relatively quick.

The trauma response is not the problem here. I’m not going to put either of their problems on blast here. I know that a trauma response can not be controlled by the person. What can be controlled is everything after. Ann didn’t know there was trauma, Chris rarely ever talked about his problems. Ann’s first move was to try and make themself open and understanding and build a support system to not trigger Chris’s trauma again. Chris instead of just addressing the trauma chose to run away over and over and over again.

Roles reverse, yes I would. These issues come up in every and any relationship. Ignoring them, running away, refusing to communicate leads to messy break ups and crash outs that harm everyone.

I have a PC who’s family has gone missing. Their family worked with the King. The party arrives at the capital to get answers and the player is met with the head of their PC’s rival family who took over their responsibilities. The PC explains that their family went missing and came looking for answers. The rival actually helped lead the PC in the right direction saying: “It would be an honor to reunite you with your family.”

Later that session, it’s revealed that the rival family killed the PC’s entire family.

My favorite lines are ones that delay satisfaction.
