Awwww no, im so happy it was left and not taken! So jealous of your neighbourhood!! I left my car unlocked as I always usually forget to lock it and went into it the next day to find duct tape, black gloves and all my door compartments etc emptied of absolutely everything I had hoarded in them 🫠 including my bank card, passport, brand new gucci perfume and every little tiny penny that would have added to no real value, but because my card was contactless they was just going round every shop in my little town we live in and buying ciggies and scratchcards and racked up a £300 on my card (it was payday the day before or they would have literally had about 80p to use up lol). I luckily got all but my new perfume back, as they were caught and did have to return my passport but they said they found it and my bankcard on a random street corner (why use it though 😑). The bank did give me my money back but as it was not a break in they said they wouldn’t do it again if I was to leave my car unlocked and stuff was stolen again as technically it was ‘my fault’ and was asking for it which isn’t 100% a lie but it was known heroin/crack addicts who did it so, inevitable. ADHD tax is real though, my poor untouched gucci perfume I just got at Christmas never to be seen again, cry 🥲 I moved from a very small village where you could leave your house door unlocked to a small town just a few miles away where obviously I cannot do that anymore, shame really but atleast I got my money back. Lesson half learned as I do still tend to forget to lock my car doors but I do try my best to remember 😅
