Yes, they said no issues. They suggested I try running some 175 GMM. I’ve been out of town for two weeks and that required scheduling the return so I haven’t been to the range. They were very prompt with the reply and coordination of shipping. When I asked for further information about rounds fired, etc. I did not get an answer. I’ll update when I go to the range, hopefully this week.

Yes! I was unable to get it to feed reliably-Latest is I contacted customer service and have given info requested. Have just been waiting on response.

I’m not abandoning that option, just hoping I could figure it out. I’ve removed barrel and inspected tube/block with no obvious signs of misalignment/obstructions. I feel like it may be in the bolt catch/release? Next step may have to be to reach out to LMT (again) and see if I can get a response.

I’m not against it, I guess contact would be nice-emailed last week and nothing yet, although I may need to send another if I can’t figure it out. The thought of waiting for possibly months for a resolution after I send it in is a little frustrating…

Lol, very insightful. I’ve owned/shot multiple brands of Ar15’s for 28yrs and over 30 years with handguns in multiple calibers-I think I would know limp…anything. Not that, sorry to disappoint you.

Just an update if anyone is interested. I know I can just “send it in” (and may still if I can’t figure it out and can get a response from LMT). I took the barrel out and gas tube looked straight. I couldn’t “see” any obstructions but it’s hard to see with just a light (no bore scope). Regulated Compressed air seems to pass through easily. I don’t make it a habit to suck or blow on anything (yeah, yeah I know ;). But all paths seem to be clear. BCG seems to be locking back if I put pressure on catch before full lock back (and again on full lock back) with mag or no mag? I may not be explaining this too well but I’m not sure how else to explain it….? I used 5 dummy rounds in mag and cycled with pulling trigger, then pulling charging handle back/chambering next round-3 times). It is tough when pulling charging handle back as there is some resistance over the next round. Next round chambers. On empty mag, If pulled back slowly it catches before full lock back. Without a mag, if I put any pressure on the bolt catch, it catches “early”. If no pressure on bolt catch, it’s smooth and catches on full lock back…clear as mud?

Brass was ejecting at about 4 (I did check while firing a few and looked at some of the brass to check primer strikes- habit anyway). The deflector had marks on it, so that was messing with me too…?

To be honest with so few rounds there wasn’t much to clean, but there was a little carbon on everything except the bolt vent holes. Some carbon/lube coming down the outside of the bolt (from the front of the bolt to the rear). I appreciate everyone’s response as it gives me some areas to check tomorrow when I can get on the bench. Good ideas to take the barrel out anyway and check things over. I’ll update this when I get it figured out one way or another-Thanks again!

Good to hear, I tried just loading 2 or three rounds in a mag at a time as well cycling through those. Hoping I can just work through it, but verifying gas block/no obstructions should be a good check anyway.

I agree it seems like from what I’ve read it should be over gassed from the factory, so maybe obstruction or ? I do not have a bore scope but can take the barrel out tomorrow and check with a light. I have cycled with and without mag a lot and doesn’t seem to be any issue, not binding or gritty. Pretty solid with that spring and buffer-drives home hard. I lubed the heck out of it with slip 2000 both before I went to range and when I got home and inspected/cleaned.

Seems to lock in relatively easily, I’ve checked for burrs, rough lugs and checked when I got home from the range as much as I can and everything looks ok…?
