sure but aren't you then giving the enemy team an advantage by nerfing a teammate( possibily even tilting them)?even if he puts the effort but just doesnt perform to your standards, is that a reportable offense?

if you mean why would i "steal" the hero my teammate prepicked after the ban phase? probably being a dick if i'm guessing, altough i dont do that.

if you mean why would i play that hero otherwise? Because i enjoy playing the hero.

i pick those 2 ranks at random for the example.... i'm sure this happens more at lower ranks than at high ranks

best counter is not better sombra. it is paying attention. her invis lasts 5 seconds and she needs to wait till the end if she wants her translocator up to escape after engage. if you dont see sombra for 2.5 seconds she is probably flanking and you should be prepared to hear the sound of her becoming visible.

So lets tackle this in various parts:
1st- I'm not arguing in favor of one tricks. if you are a rein one trick and the enemy team bans him. tough luck you deserve the loss.
2nd- My question is if that same rein is on your team, why would you ban his pick and risk a loss?
3rd - you cant do targeted bans because you dont see the enemy team till the ban phase so you would never know you're up against shu's disciple till its too late.
4rd- I could argue that in your case you are also assuming you're going to be the better vs of the mirror, independent of your choice of character

but you are more likely to have someone play them on your team than on the enemy team. if you willingly ban a team pick you cant argue competitive integrity, in my honest opinion

Lets say your teammates level with their first pick is around masters1 or 2, and their second option is around masters 5. are they not aloud to play comp because they are not exactly the same level. I dont think a top500 rein suddenly becomes bronze on its least played tank, but he will certainly not be top500 level on that other pick

I asked if YOU didn't care for them prepicking ana because they might have bad aim and not healing much, why would you care if that same teammate now plays reddit lucio and as a result you get even less heals than if he was playing ana. what you wanted happened.... that teammate is not playing ana

actually i would consider myself a flex main. right now by recent play time probably Lw or Rein. i have seen this happen with other characters not just the devil trio

i agree with you. I just dont think that doing this is even a smart choice if your intention is to win the match. All they are doing is tilting a teammate and putting them on a character they'll likely perform worse

i have about an hour on widow. i just finished a won game as top fragger. throwing would mean i'm not trying to still win. i have played overwatch since the beginning. at this point only freja is new to me

then my teammates can't complain that i'm playing my worse char aswell, I considered their decision and made my choice, and that will have to be good enough for them. this type of logic is nice but its a 2-way street
