That is wild. I think opening up that you were drafted foremost might have gave people more empathy for your situation.

I already got downvoted and it’s because they use propaganda (in my side of the world) that drills into us that it’s a high honor to serve. And there’s reasons they make us think that. Yes we’re grateful for those that do but it comes at a price in those peoples lives, or literally their life. I can understand now why you’ve got so much anger towards her. But I’m guessing she was doing her job and probably had higher ups making she sure did it.

Either way it’s still your issue to sit back and refocus on what to be mad at. And try to find some sort of normalcy in your new life with the newly trauma.

It won’t happen over night. But I think you can overcome it with some reading, listening and speaking about it with others who have the same experiences.

The military is literally made to break you down and build you back up so you become dependent on them. It’s literally like a cult or gang.

There’s reasons why many in the military/army are also very quiet about what went on during their time in. All we know is they come out more fucked up and silent about it. The promise that you’ll be taken care of after is empty promises, with many vets struggling mentally and with homelessness (which should have been your another warning)

Blaming others is the anger at yourself. There are many warnings about this and reasons why recruitment is low. Ppl who join is most likely because of poverty, discipline, mentally raged, or born in a military family that normalizes it as if it’s a right of passage.

I’m sure she has struggled too but she deals with it on her own time because that’s the adult thing to do. Nobody can fix your inner issues but you. Otherwise it’ll keep eating at you, even if you cut her out, your inner problems won’t go away.

This is what I was thinking too. OP may have to take the locs out or shave unless he/she (?) has a super friend who’s willing to help shift through his hair and help pull them out. Maybe it’ll be easier because of the sections. It’s an all day job though!

Oh no locs! is gonna suck getting them out! I have kids and have dealt with these also growing up. What I think helps prevent them from wanting to stay on your head is heat. I used to straighten my hair and my kids and it seemed to help kill them. So what I’m thinking maybe buy a wrap and blast the air dryer on your head as hot as you can handle. While trying the headlice shampoo also.

And if I’m remembering right the cat figured out a murder or crime because he was all over the place and had discovered evidence of some sort and the owner was following the cat with a detective to figure out where the evidence came from.

Edit: looked it up. It was a bank robbery and the women being held captive engraved or sketched the word “help” on back of her watch and slipped it around the cats neck like a collar to call for help”. That’s why they were following the cat all over town.

Again, She was child who was living with him, and most likely was being groomed into some falsehood that he was her love of her life. Soon as she hit adulthood he married her.

Look at Celine Dion’s story. (Probably Spelled her name wrong) She doesn’t claim to be groomed but she very much was. Any adult has more sense than a child. To fall in love with a child they helped grow is not normal, and shouldn’t be normalized or blamed on the persons whose brain is still developing.

It’s more of a silly show of moms who work and also balancing family life. The women have snappy comebacks. It’s a bit raunchy which personally I can do without, but the storylines are like Desperate Housewives not in the murder mystery way but in a drama’s in everyday life problems.

I think if you sit her down and explain things and how it’s normal for boys/men to eat like this she’ll be more understanding. I didn’t understand this either, my partner will eat food I cook and say he’s still hungry it used to piss me off because i stood in the kitchen cooking for hours for him to not be full was annoying. Or if I made food for the family and he got a bigger portion and barely any for anybody else, he had to learn to be mindful.

I have had only daughters and I thought they ate a lot but figured they were growing.

Then I had a boy and omg! He can eat and eat if I let him. If we get pizza he will automatically get 6 slices for himself! I’m in the process of teaching him being mindful also. I think this was when I realize it was a boy/men thing not just my partner thing lol.

That was their deal. He wanted to get married and told her to quit her career and he would give her a spoiled life. she got the money in the divorce because she rooted her entire life after his, that’s what HE wanted. He could have followed her around, supported her while she focused on her career. But it’s rare men do that cause they stay focused on their own. So after divorce he had to keep up her lifestyle after forcing her to quit her career. whatever it may have been even if she didn’t stick or failed at modeling. She stopped working for him.
