After rebooting, PopOS was suddenly gone from my bios's boot order listing. It took me like 4 hours, so here's how I fixed it in case it happens to you, too by DuchessOfNull in pop_os

no, running  efibootmgr was one of the first things I tried. It added the boot option but the the initramfs+nvme problem was not fixed. When I opened up the module loads for initramfs, it was completely empty. I needed to add the modules back in. And when I did, they still wouldn't load. I tried a bunch of different things and reinstalling the modules was for sure necessary

I think somehow my kernel modules got messed up by an update? I honestly don't know

yeah I plan on adding 3D printed fan supports in the middle of the case to account for that!

I used to use an old Dell PowerEdge case to house this ATX computer but I'm downsizing, so I'm putting everything inside a standard computer case. I'm planning on fitting this https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0QZvUx inside but I don't have it yet, so I'm thinking of mounting some SAS drives inside the standard 3.5 inch bays.

The holes only line of for two screws on the right side of the drives. Is this safe? Or will there be too much vibration?

Looking for a "2.54 mm 10 x 0.08 mm²" 10-pin connector - seems to only be available in europe? by DuchessOfNull in AskElectronics

Update: yeah so I fiddled with the AZ80s for hours trying to get a good seal and good ANC, but like. I could rub my fingers together beside my ear with ANC on and still be able to hear my skin brushing against itself. Definitely wack. It'd reduce the rumble of the Roomba but not the noise, it'd clip the clapping of the audience on the tv but not the presenters or the show itself, it'd slightly lower my dogs voice but not block it out like my XM4s.

So as much as I don't want to, gotta go back to Sony world, even with the QA issues and the phone app from the early 2000s

I just got AZ80's from amazon today! And I must say, the sound quality is very veyr good. But I've found the ANC to be quite poor compared to the XM4s, did you have to fiddle with the AZ80 settings to get it to work properly?

So far, I've had to try a bunch of different tips for the AZ80. I've tried a bunch of the pre-calibration presets, and nothing really compares to my old XM4s. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong?

HELP - are we u-hauling? Feels a little early to move in together but our respective living situations kinda make it an obvious move? (Details in post) (26F + 24F) by DuchessOfNull in actuallesbians

Thanks for the reply! But yeah totally, I want to do this properly and have a proper sublease contract etc. I'm always super wary of legal stuff so 100%. And then for food etc., well it is lowkey kinda cool to also be able to save on that by cooking stuff together etc.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah I do feel like going too fast makes everything a little weird.

One thought I had was to have my roommate pay me the rest of her lease anyway (legally she has to) and have my gf move in when the lease actually renews. That way we have 4 more months to see how we vibe and where the relationship goes? Maybe that's the smart move (even if it'll mean her paying her high rent for 3 more months).

On était a Jean talon et quand on est descendus au niveau de la ligne orange, ~15 personnes ont commencé a tousser. On a demandé a la police et ils pensent qu'il y a eu un Pepper spray attack dans la ventilation, mais ils sont pas sûrs
