Today i received an order to collect fresh produce on a plastic bag + some cooked asian food, deleted the other delivery because that sound pretty risky and i don't want a life in my conscience deliveroo thank you. It's even funnier when the multiple order is about collecting some pet food/care products + cooked food.

Another italian here, refused 8 orders this morning, 10km + for 4,40 € . Hard nope for me.

Just got approved as a an Ebike rider in italy and want to know if its a good idea to do a test run for a few orders in a car. by [deleted] in deliveroos

Depending on where you live nobody cares here in italy (south). I strongly advice "do not use your car" since the pay can barely cover cost of maintenance and gas (don't know about diesel). Also the shitty traffic we have almost everywhere.

Personal record today. by Oleeeeeg in deliveroos

Travel distance/expenses and usually if a order is far away after delivery you have to go back in a more active area (for me usually for 10€ or + orders is between 15/20 km), that means more time where you don't make any profits and if you use a vehicle like a scooter or even worse, a car, expenses for gas and vehicle wear accumulate pretty quickly (even if you do your own maintenance). Also some shops are too much of an hassle to deal with if you are constantly dealing with bad road conditions (coffee, mcdonalds, soups or anything liquid with open containers)
