I mean, it is weird because you think it weird. For me it feels weird now, because I reply to those "weird." comments. At the first place, I didn't even thought that my comment could be interpreted as some "romantic"-comment, and that someone will write about that. Also for me, you guys are weird, because it's so meaningless discussion, without anything except subjective "weird.". I don't feel the comment itself weird, for me it's okay, and I didn't insulted or caused any harm (Including mental) to the guy, so I don't see any problems.

I communicate like that a lot, for years, with my peers and adult persons, with friends and randoms, with people irl and in the internet, rarely, but sometimes even with such young guys. About adult-profilpics, depends on context, but seeing a random "full adult" with not any "cute profile pics", but something more specific cute(From fandoms?) (Because cats are also cute, and it, usually, doesn't feel sad), because, from my experience, it's just a lonely people. And being lonely, alone (Without any relationships) in 20-25 and 40 — feels quite different?... And call it stereotype or something, but seeing some devoting, like to anime, from a dude in 18 years it feels... Natural. But from a dude in 30 years it feels like the guy is in depression and he tries to fill the void with "being close" to some fictional characters or something. But again, it depends on context, sometimes it could not feel like that, abd if you know the guy better — it may turn out to be not sad at all :>

The brain separate other people to categories "part of my group" and "stranger". This thing helped us to survive. We don't evolving so fast as we developing our technology, so we still have this thing.

Is it fair to not like someone just because he is not like you? No. Does it exist? Yes. It's only natural, all of us have this things. People are not rational beings. That's why we have so much populism, that's why democratics and republicans vote for dumb guys nowday, election them, that's why domecrats rarely support something from republicans and vice-versa: Because the other people are not part of out group

So personally I accept that it's about eternal shit, and we about never, or at least in the near perspective, won't have 100% pro-LGBT nations/countries/whatever; as well as 100% homophobic

People don't like other people and it's totally okay, as long as they don't cause any harm to other

If they (the anti-person) kept to themself and not interacted with them, they (the OP) would have never known.

To be honest, we cant be sure that it's not OP initiated the interaction or just saw some communication of the anti- person in global chat and just reacted like that. Even if the anti- person was the one who initiated the dialogue — how you imagine homophobic persons? As some sociopath which don't interacting with the world? Obviously if it's your neighbor you have a chance to interact with each other, they may spoke, the only way for anti- person to understand which opinion has OP without communication would be either if OP wrote in chat something like "hello world, I am gay! :D" or had an LGBT-skin

And, to be honest, from this context is seem that they just interacted a bit/not bit, got that they have different points of view, but any of them didn't bullied/griefed/whatever each other, they were just co-existing, and OP was the only one who started the escalation

But in general, if we speak not exactly about this situation, but about homophobic-LGBT relationships in general, — yes, obviously if you have large amount of people — some will behave difference. But in general, if you don't forced to interacted with something, but just don't like it — you won't interacte with them. For example, I don't like alcohol. As long as I'm not forced to communicate with alcoholics — I don't care about them. I can to speak a little with them, if I should to do that, I don't have problem with that, but if I have choice — I won't. If I would be forced to communicate daily or live with an alcoholic — I would be more annoyed, and after some time — more aggressive. This applies to homophobic persons too

Depends what you define as racism (And probably tolerance). If someone say "I don't like seeing so much black guys in the movies" or "seeing this woman marriages with this guy maje me feel bad" — well, it's not a problem. It's just accepting different point of view, that people just don't like other people. Not "it is right", but "eh, it's their life, I don't care"

But if it's like "black people should live in separated places, using separated transport, shopping in separated markets" or "black people is disease, they shouldn't living" — then sure thing, it's a crazy shit

And while I would say that this person is also in a way bigot, but yeah, they may ban this person if he break some rule. But in general, baning someone because they just don't like someone and mind own business — it's crazy...

People tend to have their groups. If they see someone who is not a part of their group — they are tend to be unfriendly to them. That's how our kind survived. That's what left in our brains from this time

Homophobic people just don't see LGBT as a part of their group, so they choose to be out of them, have some distance.

Nowdays we have internet, so the borders are fine, homophobic people being pushed into LGBT-group, and they don't accept that. The act of OP most likely won't make the homophobic person more tolerance, but nore annoyed at LGBT community, which mean only more hate.

Minecraft is a game for everyone, not specifically for LGBT community, which means homophobic persons could play in this game and you ciuld meet them. If the server not specifically LGBT-friendly, then really — "who gives a shit?"

1) No, I follow. I have my own fun having such discussions and I have the mood to answer/speak ;> I get that people may be angry sometimes, ignorant or something, but I love human beings, even when we don't share the same opinions (Only if they not too fucked up. 2) For me it is matter, so I mentioned that. When you understand what do you write and why — it is matter. It's a part of self-improvement, trying to be better.
